Group programmes can be a part of the management of many long-term conditions, combining various different activities which combined can have greater outcomes than individual components. Whilst suggestions may exist for what kind of content to cover in the specific group, the practicalities of how to run a group and ensure it is effective, have not been discussed in much depth, until now.
