Yeah, because at the end of the episode, you talked about how you also got like a late stage autism diagnosis. We had so many women in the comments who were also saying that they were diagnosed with autism later in life. Yeah. Doctors just didn't know what it was for a long time.
It's so under-recognized in girls because of the way we are trained socially and how it's easier for us to mask. And it's just, it's really hard. So I think like finding out an answer for a lot of people out there, it's just like, okay, great. I can move forward. And now I know why my brain operates in this quirky way that it does. It just, it really helps.

the stories i'm a little scared to share that because i don't i don't really talk about it much even on two hot takes i imagine it's scary it is well and i got diagnosed because of people bullying me in the comments what yeah like i i just constantly got told i acted like so different with every guest and i'm like i brought it to my provider that like i went through all of this like yeah like talk interview and like questionnaires with to get diagnosed and I like pulled up like video clips I had prepared for her and she's like you're literally masking and I was like okay thank you that's so interesting yeah do you feel like after getting a diagnosis do you feel better like do you feel like there's now things you can do to help yourself I definitely try to mask less and like it's been interesting it's like it's muscle memory though it's like I've been acting like this for the past
30 some odd years yeah it's also interesting having an on-camera job too when that's your thing is like masking because yep you learn a lot of things about yourself yeah yeah being able to like go back and watch yourself too yeah wild yeah no but thanks everyone who reached out thank you for chiming in we love you guys so much
