Interview with Public Speaking Expert Simon Bucknall

Last Thursday, I had the opportunity to interview Simon Bucknall. Simon is a Public Speaking Expert, Coach, Author, and also 2nd place winner of the 2017 World Championship of Public Speaking. We discussed a number of things and when I asked him some of the common mistakes novice speakers do, here is what Simon mentioned - 1. It's not about you - When the speaker start working on their craft they at times get too much worried about how they look, how they speak, and how they sound but honestly, this is not about them but about the audience . 2. It should trigger change - Even if you're speaking perfectly if you're not able to drive the change you have not fulfilled the purpose of speaking.
