Special guest LTC Nikki Dean of the US Army Combined-Arms Doctrine Directorate (CADD) joins host Dr. Jonathan Abel and Dr. Angela Riotto to discuss doctrine and its importance.  The discuss what doctrine is and how it's used in the US Army.  They detail how doctrine is created and what misconceptions people have about it.  LTC Dean describes how she uses her unique voice on social media to encourage reading and understanding of doctrine.  Finally, they explain how history and doctrine interact.
