Professor Alfirevic's bio: Zarko Alfirevic is Professor Emeritus at the University of Liverpool where he was Professor of Fetal and Maternal Medicine, Head of Department of Women’s and Children’s Health and Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor at the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.His main research interests are evidence based medicine and clinical trials in high risk obstetrics. He has over 300 publications listed in PubMed with H-index of 92.
