However, there can be times in which it can lead to additional issues. The complex nature of childhood trauma and the overlapping of symptoms with other mental health disorders makes it challenging to come up with an accurate diagnosis which can lead to ineffective and unnecessary medication, and as a result…it can delay, or even impede the healing process. In this episode, I talk about the reason why, how misdiagnosis can happen, and it’s effect on the healing journey.
