On today’s edition of Straight Outta Vegas, RJ Bell and the guys discuss the firing of John Dorsey and how the Browns are a millennial team in need of a hard nosed coach. Plus, RJ and Brad discuss the return of Texans DT JJ Watt. Brad Powers say the betting market has no reaction to Watt being activated for Saturday’s wild card game against the Bills. RJ goes on to say it could mean 1 of 2 things: Vegas assumed JJ Watt was going to play, or they don’t believe Watt is as impact as he once was when he was in the MVP discussion. RJ also says the line seems short at Houston -2.5, but with home field advantage automatically giving you 3 points, Vegas believe the Bills are a better team. RJ and Brad disagree with Vegas, but Jonas says he is not that surprised, citing the Bills have been better down the stretch. Also, Fezzik gives his best bet for the New Years bowl games, including taking the over on the Alabama-Michigan game due to Alabama's defense being unmotivated and the offensive fire power.
