Follow Inspiration FAST

This episode is about following inspiration fast, a pro tip because as Dr. Joe Vitale says "The Universe loves speed." When inspiration strikes, just go with it! Take the first steps as quickly as you can. Make a sketch, journal about it, brainstorm, book a session to talk to a relevant person about it, get a super rough draft written. The faster you get the process moving, the more inspiration you will receive. Things will just start coming together. Last Thursday I got super inspired to start a Print Club, and I was so excited I did all the legwork and launched it on Sunday morning! I had to delay everything else, including this podcast episode, but it was well worth it. I'm SO excited about the future of this project.But doing it was tricky! Even though I was super inspired, I was scared too! I had to do several sessions of going to the little couch in my studio to press my hand on the center of my chest and breathe slowly to regulate my nervous system. After doing it for about six minutes, I would settle down and remember that I can definitely handle this. It's just scary to do something new, isn' t it?Throughout the process, I thought about David Bowie's quote that "you need to always go a little farther out into the water than you're really comfortable with. Just about the time your feet aren't touching the sand anymore that's when you're ready to do something really exciting".
