Welcome back to Creepcast! today we are we're going down memory lane a bit aren't we isaiah we are going to actually read i'm a search and rescue officer for the u.s forest service i have some stories to tell aka stairs of the woods which was the first episode we ever did when we were trying to figure out what in the hell the show even was oh baby oh baby i'm excited i am pumped i'm so ready for it this is a good this is a good first episode to start with i'm glad you suggested this Yeah, yeah. I remember, which is so funny. I was going to say this before the podcast, but I remember when we first started this. We started looking at this and you're like, should we just, I don't know, should we just read it?
And I was looking through, I'm like, God, I mean, it's so long. Who the fuck wants to sit here and have us read this entire thing? And now we have a 12-hour story. And now we have a 12-hour episode up. So yeah, I think we missed the mark just a little on that. But we never actually sat down and read this. And this is such a popular... story and i know people have been recommending that we actually read it again and i think we need to do it justice for actually doing it because now uh i know isaiah knows the author of this very well yes and uh we i think it would be good if we actually just read it we did an actual episode uh Because I think that's our most, no, no, no. I think left, right games are most, it's one of our most viewed episodes and it's not even the format.
It's not even in the format of how we do the show. It's top five and it's me and you being like, yeah, it's kind of a cool story. You know, there's some parts I like. It's so silly looking back at it now.

And it's so funny because our commenters were really letting us down very softly. They were like, yeah, so don't do that. You should just read the story. No. there's a lot of comments where people are like this is cool at all but uh i haven't read it so i don't know what you're talking about and in hindsight which in hindsight good point the story is the the episode is very much like you guys it's kind of crazy in this part this thing happens and i think that it's actually pretty cool and it's you being like yeah i do think it is cool actually it's like such a weird like there's i don't know At the time, it just seemed weird because... We were like, no one's going to watch this if we just read a story.
That's insane. I think before... And here we are. Before, it was like... I mean, the plan, I think, was just to talk about the stories. whatever. I don't think that we ever, when we were coming into this, I don't think it was ever us being like, Oh, we're going to read the stories and kind of joke. Like we didn't know what that format was yet. Cause I think we were like, well, we don't want to just like read the story. Cause then it feels weird to, you know, interject and, and talk. Cause no other channel really does that. Um, usually it's just like they're narration channels and you're there for the story. Uh, and then we just start reading stories and just like, I don't give a fuck. We're just, we're just going to riff and chat between it, which is, uh, you know, what, what ended up being coming the, uh, the podcast.
So it's insane too. Like we're two years in now and now, uh, we're coming back and we're touching base, which I think we were going to do this, uh, the first year, but then I think with the, the first tour we did and other stuff, I think it just didn't line up. And now we're, we ended up doing Ted, the caver. That's what it was. Uh, because that's what we've talked about before. That's technically the proto creep cast episode because it was on your channel before we did this. Um, and then we wanted to do this for the two year, but then we had the Halloween tour. So I have, we missed the two year. Um, yeah yeah we're definitely we're definitely celebrating the two-year anniversary today this is our celebration it's around it was in november it's we're around the same time listen it's close enough yeah these things happen we're we're celebrating it now that's all you need to know and if anything it's probably close to the holiday season for everybody when this is coming out so happy holidays to everybody and this is our little gift to you um before before we get into it as well just want to discuss zoe 101 just kidding we're not getting into that
