Hey, mate, look, right now I'm likening the West Coast Eagles to Adam Cooney. He takes a lot to get into his day. He's a very slow starter, and that's essentially what is happening to you guys. Your first quarters right now is the, even last weekend, slow first quarter, put yourself in the back foot, and we're pretty good after quarter time. Is this something that's able to be fixed?
I believe so, yeah, and it's certainly something that we have gone after in the last couple of weeks and more so this week again. But, yeah, obviously the simplicity of it and predictability is the key. So any messaging that we give to them and just making sure that they're going out with clear mind and able to execute really. So obviously contest is first and foremost. We've got to get that part right and against the dogs especially where, you know, they challenge us. Probably all over the ground, but specifically through the midfield, we're going to have to be on song.

Mm. Not necessarily. It's probably a bit of column A, B and C and all of those things. It's just ensuring that, you know, obviously centre bounce is key from the start. Obviously the last week, you know, they owned front territory because of the centre bounce issue, so... uh ensuring that the structures there are right the contest work there is right and then from either end ensuring that we read and react off whatever's happening so um there's probably a little bit of mindset that comes with that as well and again we've gone to work on that so hopefully we see a change in this back half of the year
And I can tell you, Marco, I can tell you, Adam, he's trying to talk to you, but for whatever reason, we can't hear him. So we're going to hold that thought for a very split second. From a forward line perspective, you know, Jake Waterman, who, of course, has played some really good footy, Shanahan, you've had guys who have been able to go forward and hit the scoreboard. How have you seen the development inside 50 from this youngish group?
Yeah, it's an evolving one. We've probably had close to 20-odd players who have gone through that forward line. So, as you touched on, the mainstays in Jake and Job have certainly been influential and able to hit the scoreboard and challenge sides a lot. So, for us, it's about creating that synergy and cohesion with the forward six, together with, obviously, the guys who are kicking it inside our forward half. So... been super pleased with the guys progressing and our challenge is to get that mix right and ensure that we've got a group that can play this back half of the year together consistently and obviously put that scoreboard pressure on because there's no doubt that we've had our opportunities and we've let some games slip because of probably our inaccuracy and probably also our...
