0566 Daily Easy English Expression PODCAST—to give someone the benefit of the doubt

29 Jan 2016

Description

Today’s expression and dialog: to give someone the benefit of the doubt Where’s Mark? He’s late. He said he got a flat tire. And you believed him. Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt. I really do NOT like when people PROMISE to do something for me and then they don't do it AND LIE! Not doing a promise, that can happen. But just tell me the truth. You forgot OR you were busy OR you didn't want to OR you didn't know how...but don't lie to me. Don't say, "My um...my grandmother was ill and I had to take care of her because she was really sick and I love my grandmother...BLAH BLAH BLAH..."However, you know, sometimes that "lie" is actually TRUE! So...sometimes we need to "trust" people. And today I have a perfect expression for you to use in these situations^^Have a GREAT Friday and a wonderful weekend!Coach Shane Please subscribe on iTunes and get this podcast EVERY DAY!
