Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin becomes 410th player to reach 1,000 games

31 Oct 2025

Description

Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin, drafted second overall in 2010, reached a significant milestone by playing his 1000th regular-season NHL game. He's the 400th player in NHL history to achieve this feat and the 270th forward. Seguin, one of just 39 active NHL players to reach 1000 games, is the third from his draft class. He's been a consistent performer for Dallas, scoring at least 60 points in each of his first 6 years with the team. Seguin has had standout seasons, including leading the team in points in his first season with Dallas and again in 2018-2019. He's also shone for Team Canada, winning multiple gold medals and being named an NHL All-Star six times.DNN | The Daily News Now!The world’s first global local news network.Every city. Every story.
