Episode 47: Live with Carl Knif

Meet choreographer and director Carl Knif in this live episode of Dance Pod with Skånes Dansteater. An artist talk about dance, theater and the new production 'Aniara'. This event was live streamed on Vimeo and Youtube Thursday October 10, 2024.'Aniara' is a performance that mixes dance and theatre. It is based on the book of the same name by Swedish author and Nobel Prize winner Harry Martinson.In 'Aniara', the Earth is called Doris and it is being destroyed by the way people live their lives. Those who can now flee the planet Doris. Aniara is the name of one of the spaceships traveling back and forth from Doris to the refugees' new home planet, Tundrakloten. During one of these trips 'Aniara' collides with a smaller planet and starts to drift.
