Decoding Attachment Styles

WHAT ARE ATTACHMENT STYLES?

28 Mar 2023

Description

Some people break up and jump into another relationship while some sit around waiting for their partner to come back. Attachment styles matter👇👉 Secure attached individuals are comfortable with intimacy and feel secure in their relationships. They trust their partners and are able to express their feelings and needs without fear of rejection.👉 Anxious-preoccupied are individuals are often preoccupied with their relationships and worry about their partner's love and commitment. They may cling to their partners, seek constant reassurance and validation, and become anxious when they feel their partner is not available.👉 Dismissive-avoidant individuals tend to avoid intimacy and emotional attachment. They may believe that they don't need anyone, suppress their emotions, and often have an easy time ending relationships.👉Fearful-avoidant (also known as disorganized attachment) can display both anxious and avoidant tendencies. They may want emotional intimacy but are afraid of getting hurt, which can lead to conflicting behaviors and emotional instability.🦋 This series helps us to understand our attachment style and learning how to heal. For similar content, you can also find me on Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and Tiktok. I would love to hear your thoughts on this episode.
