Kynan is currently co-founder and CEO at iniVation, chairman at QuantActions; board member at iniLabs. Former founding chairman at SynSense. Degrees in science (comp. sci., applied math.) and mechanical engineering at Monash University (Melbourne), PhD from Institute of Neuroinformatics at ETH Zurich. Former faculty at Uni/ETH Zurich, ran research group investigating neuroscience and medical applications of VR (42 peer-reviewed scientific articles, 5 patents), before moving to transition technology to tech startups. Teach/coach startup cases from time to time at Uni Zurich Digital Entrepreneurship; advisor for Karuna VR and Educreators Foundation. Raised over $17M in research and venture funding. Previously worked in software consulting, software testing for a partner of Telstra, gas turbine design at ABB and Alstom, intern at GM Australia.
