Georgios Gkekas is the Chief Technology Officer of vent.io GmbH, the digital arm of Deutsche Leasing Group. In this role, he is responsible for defining the technological strategy of the company and setting up a full-stack engineering department consisting of data scientists, and software and site reliability engineers. Before devoting his work full time to vent.io, Georgios served as an Enterprise Architect at Deutsche Leasing. In total, he has over 15 years of professional experience in the field of developing digital products, during which he served as a software engineer and architect with a focus on the financial services industry sector. As a passionate and enthusiastic technologist, he has always believed that technology can be used for the better of mankind and can help increase both productivity as well as generate new value.
