It's now time for your weekly detox with Tom Schwartz.
What is up? Hi. How are you? How you doing there? Happy Wednesday. Fresh off the 4th of July. Happy 250th birthday, America. I see you. Today on the show, Bryce Sander. If you don't know who that is, you probably recognize him. He's an entertainment journalist and on-camera correspondent for E.T., where he's kind of become one of the leading voices covering reality TV, pop culture, Bravo, all that good stuff. Maybe he's a little bit of a pop culture vulture. No, he's a pop culture cockatiel. He's a beautiful soul and just lovely to be around. I always love sitting down and chatting with him. Yeah, man. And he's very good at what he does. I wanted to take you guys to the studio. Yes. On set of E.T. Maybe step into his office and just check in.
See what it's like being a television host and correspondent. See what it's like to be fulfilling a dream. Maybe ask him. But, you know, we already know to be true. Does it need to bleed to lead? Spoiler alert, pretty much. But yeah, a good little interview today. By the way, Canada, I love you. Kelowna, Kamloops, I miss you. I got to spend Canada Day. It's like their Independence Day. July 1st. It was awesome. Shout out to Landon and Larissa. Thank you for the wedding invitation. Thank you for offering to let me officiate your wedding. Although, I think you'd be much better off with Lisa Vanderpump. But it's such an honor. I had so much fun with you guys. Special shout out to everyone who showed up at the Canadian Brewhouse.
Caneloops and Kelowna. My God, Kelowna. Kelowna feels like a beautiful, joyous, heavenly place to live. It's got beautiful, unique landscapes. Mountains, forests, lakes, freaking beachfront vineyards. I'm telling you, this is... You need this. You need it. It's like, remember when Julie Andrews was twirling around in the sound of music? You know what I'm talking about. Yeah. This is... That's how Kelowna feels, just like that. But man, it is such a gorgeous place and I just... Yeah.
Yeah.
Man, I can't wait to go back. British Columbia in general. But yeah, man. We're doing the damn thing today. We're going to get into it with Bryce. And yeah, I love you guys. Doing it. Another episode, another day. Beautiful day to be alive. All right. Love you guys. Next stop. Hittin' the studios. Entertainment Tonight with Bryce Sander. Let's go. Should we just go? Let's go.
Hi. Hi, Tom.
Want to tell everybody where we are and what we're doing right now?
We're at my office at Entertainment Tonight.
Which is... off it's on radford it's on the radford lot in studio city california aka the valley the valley yes we are still in the valley and i'm i feel like i'm living out your dream with you in real time right yeah a little bit is this what you dreamed of doing uh being a correspondent a journalist uh a hundred percent yeah yeah it's so wacky It's so cool. It's so cool that you did it. Do you feel like you've achieved?
I've definitely checked the box. I think my advice or what I say to people anytime is you have to remember when a dream becomes reality, it's a reality. So all the like... dreamy parts of it sometimes aren't as dreamy because it's reality. But yeah, I'm still very lucky. This is such a weird, strange, crazy job to have.
It really is. And I like on your profile, it says Chief Real Housewives Correspondent.
Yeah, that's not a real title. People legitimately think that's what my job is.
That's how I think of you.
I mean, I'll take it. It's not a bad way to be thought of.
We just did a quick chat. I feel like we've been friends for a long time. And I was like, Bryce, we've been through some shit together.
Yeah, I've seen you through many stages of life.
You really have. My God. You've seen me in all my iterations. The good, the bad, the ugly. More the...
Well, no, I think mostly good.
Mostly good, honestly.
I'm usually there for the celebratory moments.
You are. I like that about you. I was watching this new show. I just started it last night. It's called The Beast in Me.
Oh.
The limited series on Netflix.
Yes, with Claire Danes.
