At a follow-up appointment in reviewing her labs, her doctor told her that her phosphorus was low and told her to drink Coca-Cola to increase her phosphorus! News flash, there is zero nutritional value in Coca-Cola. Diamond didn’t drink soda and at that point decided against the nutritional advice of her doctor. Instead, she was going to take her new kidney, and find a new way to take care of her health so she went to Dr. Google instead and found Carrie! What made the difference for Diamond?
