suppressing everything that i think life was really asking me to focus on all right guys rita merchant donnie here today we're going to talk the akashic records and how you can uh utilize it in your daily life thanks for coming on today oh thank you so much for having me i'm so excited to be here and yeah to connect on the akashic and seeing how it can help each of us in our daily lives absolutely how did you get into this journey was it at a young age
No. So actually, for most of my life, I was a very logical person. I grew up in a household where education, learning to be logical was very valued. And while my mom was spiritual, it wasn't something I was ever personally interested in. Every time she'd be like, do you want to learn about this? I'd be like, no. I was actually a chess player for a lot of my life.
Oh, yeah. I'm a chess player.

Chapter 3: What are the Akashic Records?

But you're really... We should play. I mean, you would dominate.

Yeah. So I haven't played in a while, but I taught chess. So that's how my mind worked. Very logical. Wanted things to be in order. Went to college. No spiritual interest. When I was about 25, I had what we would call as a spiritual awakening, which basically means that to me, one day I was very logical. The next day I had zero... I was having all these experiences that I couldn't explain.
Suddenly I started to see energy. I started to see the world very differently. And that's where my spiritual journey began. This spiritual journey eventually led me to finding the Akashic many years later, about five years after the spiritual awakening.
Wow. So what do you think prompted that experience at age 25?
So there was an exact moment. So at 25, I was going through, it's kind of a weird story, but I was going through a breakup. We were like in the discussion of breaking up and it was kind of happening over a few days where we were like, are we going to stay together? Are we not? And it was causing me such deep pain, like the deepest pain I've probably ever felt other than when someone had died.
And during that process, one night we were like, all right, just come sleep over and we'll talk about this more tomorrow. So the next day or actually that night, I'm sleeping at his house and I wake up and in the corner of the room, I can only describe what I feel is like an energy. that scares the crap out of me.

Chapter 4: How can you clear negative energy from a space?
So I woke him up and I said, Hey, something really weird just happened. This was verbatim because we've talked about it. What happened? Um, I said, There was something like a monster in the corner. He obviously thinks I'm like, I don't know. But I've never said anything like this to him before. I said, I'm going to go home. We'll meet tomorrow and we'll talk.
The relationship naturally disintegrated. But after that night, I kept having experiences with energy. And that was the first moment. And that led to about a year and a half of extreme pain.
Chapter 5: What is the significance of Ireland's spiritual energy?
Wow.
Where I was just constantly in emotional pain over the breakup. I had had parts of my life that really weren't in order that had to kind of come in order. And that's where. Synchronistically, one day I got this pain in my left knee and this pain wouldn't go away. My mom suggested I go to an energy healer. I had been very against all of this prior to that. So I was like, all right, I'll try it.
So I go. The second I stepped in her office, the pain left.
Wow.
And I was just like, okay, whatever. So I lay on her table and because I'm in such pain, I just am crying, just crying, crying, crying. But suddenly she's like, can you feel things around you? I'm like, yes, I feel things all the time now. I hate it. I hate all of this. And she became my first teacher.
And that's when I started to learn the healing that came with what I thought was the worst moment. And looking back now is like when my life really began.

So it was a pretty dramatic shakeup, but I needed it because I was so suppressing everything that I think life was really asking me to focus on. And I wasn't happy looking back. If I had to rate my life on a one to 10, probably four, but I thought it was very happy.
Interesting. So when you were feeling physical pain around your body, was that other people's pain you were feeling?

Chapter 6: How does the Akashic Records help with finding one's purpose?
Yes. So if you were to Google it, it's known as the Google of energy. And basically what that means is that imagine there's a field of energy that contain the past, present, and future of existence. To break that down into human words, it's where our soul essence lives. And to me, it's where we can connect to our soul. You don't need someone else to read it for you. You on your own can just say,
I would like to intentionally and loving connect to my own Akashic record and just notice what happens. Do it in a quiet place. I believe it's something we can all do. It's available to us. Now, whether we want to is a different story and whether it feels like we need to is a different story. But in my experience, it changed my whole life.
And so now I teach people, but again, you don't necessarily, I learned on my own. You don't need a teacher. It just might speed up the process of how fast you learn how to quickly tap into things and how quickly you, yeah, basically learn how to navigate it.
Right. So you could find your soul's purpose by doing this.
Yeah. And you can find a lot more. So I think a lot of times people go to a reading like that's the number one question I'm asked. What's my soul's purpose? Yeah. So I see things a little differently than maybe it's not black and white. Like a lot of people will be like, so what's my purpose in this lifetime? And they want to hear something like, oh, you're meant to be a healer.
You're meant to be an entrepreneur. You're meant to be a billionaire.
Mm hmm.
We have so many different purposes. I'm like, well, which area of purpose are you speaking to? And like also different parts of our life. Like when you were in high school, right? Maybe your purpose was to be, was that, were you a runner in high school or later? Yeah.

Chapter 7: What are the patterns that the Akashic Records reveal?
Right.
And To me, the power of the Akashic is that you can go to the past and unhook yourself. So you no longer have that power or that pattern dictating your now.

I think most of us do. It's a comfortable place and we don't often even recognize we're in it.

Chapter 8: How can we break free from past influences?
Yes, and some are ancestral. Some of these are not even ours. That's the crazy part too. A lot of this is not even ours. We could say it's past life. If you don't believe in past life, we'll say it's ancestral. The truth is it doesn't matter where it came from. It matters that somewhere there's a pattern that's influencing your life now. And
Like I had one client, just as an example of how it could work. She was deathly afraid at night. Very successful, like amazing woman. But at nighttime, she would always be afraid. And she's like, I don't know why I have this fear. Nothing consciously has ever happened to me to like...
influence this fear and we we went into her Akashic she found I didn't find it so I I like to guide people to the root so they can see it for themselves because I find that's even more impactful if you yourself see it than me telling you she found her root she was de-plugged from it and then a few months later I receive an email where she's like oh I just wanted to tell you that um
I didn't even notice I'm not afraid of the dark anymore. It happened so gently that like it wasn't until my parents were here that they noticed I'm no longer afraid. I forgot about it. Like I forgot that that even existed.
Crazy.
Yeah. So that's just a small example, but we all have things in our life that are, you know, pulling us in different ways that we're not fully free from.
I used to sleep with the light on as a kid. Yeah. I found out later that my house was haunted. Yeah. So I was shutting off my powers. And I know you experienced a similar thing too, right?
