Chapter 1: What triggered Rita's spiritual awakening?

21.99 - 29.092 Host

The healing that came with what I thought was the worst moment and looking back now is like when my life really began. But I needed it because I was so...

0

30.032 - 54.381 Host

suppressing everything that i think life was really asking me to focus on all right guys rita merchant donnie here today we're going to talk the akashic records and how you can uh utilize it in your daily life thanks for coming on today oh thank you so much for having me i'm so excited to be here and yeah to connect on the akashic and seeing how it can help each of us in our daily lives absolutely how did you get into this journey was it at a young age

0

55.131 - 79.632 Host

No. So actually, for most of my life, I was a very logical person. I grew up in a household where education, learning to be logical was very valued. And while my mom was spiritual, it wasn't something I was ever personally interested in. Every time she'd be like, do you want to learn about this? I'd be like, no. I was actually a chess player for a lot of my life. Oh, yeah. I'm a chess player.

0

79.792 - 80.192 Host

You are?

0

Chapter 2: How did Rita's journey lead to the Akashic Records?

80.272 - 84.034 Host

What's your ELO? Oh, my gosh. Like 1900? Holy crap.

0

Chapter 3: What are the Akashic Records?

84.614 - 90.478 Host

1450. But you're really... We should play. I mean, you would dominate. We should have a chessboard here. Next time. I'll have to practice to play you.

0

90.778 - 116.971 Host

Yeah. So I haven't played in a while, but I taught chess. So that's how my mind worked. Very logical. Wanted things to be in order. Went to college. No spiritual interest. When I was about 25, I had what we would call as a spiritual awakening, which basically means that to me, one day I was very logical. The next day I had zero... I was having all these experiences that I couldn't explain.

0

117.351 - 134.145 Host

Suddenly I started to see energy. I started to see the world very differently. And that's where my spiritual journey began. This spiritual journey eventually led me to finding the Akashic many years later, about five years after the spiritual awakening. Wow. So what do you think prompted that experience at age 25?

0

135.199 - 156.243 Host

So there was an exact moment. So at 25, I was going through, it's kind of a weird story, but I was going through a breakup. We were like in the discussion of breaking up and it was kind of happening over a few days where we were like, are we going to stay together? Are we not? And it was causing me such deep pain, like the deepest pain I've probably ever felt other than when someone had died.

0

157.423 - 176.736 Host

And during that process, one night we were like, all right, just come sleep over and we'll talk about this more tomorrow. So the next day or actually that night, I'm sleeping at his house and I wake up and in the corner of the room, I can only describe what I feel is like an energy. that scares the crap out of me.

177.557 - 187.785 Host

And it basically, I don't know if this was intuitively, I don't know how it happened. I got this feeling of like, you need to leave this room right now. You need to go home. And this is not the life you're meant to be living. Wow.

Chapter 4: How can you clear negative energy from a space?

188.245 - 205.324 Host

So I woke him up and I said, Hey, something really weird just happened. This was verbatim because we've talked about it. What happened? Um, I said, There was something like a monster in the corner. He obviously thinks I'm like, I don't know. But I've never said anything like this to him before. I said, I'm going to go home. We'll meet tomorrow and we'll talk.

0

205.985 - 217.339 Host

The relationship naturally disintegrated. But after that night, I kept having experiences with energy. And that was the first moment. And that led to about a year and a half of extreme pain.

0

Chapter 5: What is the significance of Ireland's spiritual energy?

0

218.179 - 241.651 Host

Where I was just constantly in emotional pain over the breakup. I had had parts of my life that really weren't in order that had to kind of come in order. And that's where. Synchronistically, one day I got this pain in my left knee and this pain wouldn't go away. My mom suggested I go to an energy healer. I had been very against all of this prior to that. So I was like, all right, I'll try it.

0

241.991 - 264.409 Host

So I go. The second I stepped in her office, the pain left. Wow. And I was just like, okay, whatever. So I lay on her table and because I'm in such pain, I just am crying, just crying, crying, crying. But suddenly she's like, can you feel things around you? I'm like, yes, I feel things all the time now. I hate it. I hate all of this. And she became my first teacher.

0

265.41 - 274.412 Host

And that's when I started to learn the healing that came with what I thought was the worst moment. And looking back now is like when my life really began. Wow.

0

274.892 - 295.398 Host

So it was a pretty dramatic shakeup, but I needed it because I was so suppressing everything that I think life was really asking me to focus on. And I wasn't happy looking back. If I had to rate my life on a one to 10, probably four, but I thought it was very happy. Interesting. So when you were feeling physical pain around your body, was that other people's pain you were feeling?

296.678 - 318.571 Host

I'm sure it was. I think now looking back, it was. But I think I had suppressed who I was so deeply. A lot of it was just coming out. Yeah, it was like, accept me, accept me, see me, feel me, become me. And I just never allowed myself to do that. Interesting. So did that first mentor read your Akashic Records for you?

319.395 - 336.799 Host

No. So what ended up happening is that first mentor would just be like, all right, think of a word. And I would think of a word. And then she would be like, she would write the word down. And then I would say the word and it would be the same word. And I'd be like, oh, this is real. Like this is something's happening. I don't know what's happening, but something's happening.

336.819 - 345.9 Host

So she could read your mind. I wouldn't say that. I'd say there's patterns in a field that we can all connect to. And when people are open, you could potentially tap into the same pattern. Wow.

346.14 - 362.681 Host

So, you know, you can just feel things, right? Like, It sounds out there, but you and I could look at a person and be like, that person looks sad. You know, you can just kind of feel things off people, even if they don't look it or that person looks like they know something. It's the same way, but you start to go a little deeper.

Chapter 6: How does the Akashic Records help with finding one's purpose?

751.903 - 778.373 Host

Yes. So if you were to Google it, it's known as the Google of energy. And basically what that means is that imagine there's a field of energy that contain the past, present, and future of existence. To break that down into human words, it's where our soul essence lives. And to me, it's where we can connect to our soul. You don't need someone else to read it for you. You on your own can just say,

0

779.628 - 797.183 Host

I would like to intentionally and loving connect to my own Akashic record and just notice what happens. Do it in a quiet place. I believe it's something we can all do. It's available to us. Now, whether we want to is a different story and whether it feels like we need to is a different story. But in my experience, it changed my whole life.

0

797.764 - 814.435 Host

And so now I teach people, but again, you don't necessarily, I learned on my own. You don't need a teacher. It just might speed up the process of how fast you learn how to quickly tap into things and how quickly you, yeah, basically learn how to navigate it. Right. So you could find your soul's purpose by doing this.

0

815.134 - 832.904 Host

Yeah. And you can find a lot more. So I think a lot of times people go to a reading like that's the number one question I'm asked. What's my soul's purpose? Yeah. So I see things a little differently than maybe it's not black and white. Like a lot of people will be like, so what's my purpose in this lifetime? And they want to hear something like, oh, you're meant to be a healer.

0

832.944 - 849.299 Host

You're meant to be an entrepreneur. You're meant to be a billionaire. Mm hmm. We have so many different purposes. I'm like, well, which area of purpose are you speaking to? And like also different parts of our life. Like when you were in high school, right? Maybe your purpose was to be, was that, were you a runner in high school or later? Yeah. High school.

849.84 - 860.247 Host

That might've been that purpose at that time in your life. Now where you're at right now, this could be your purpose, right? You're spreading information through this podcast. You know, you're, you're reaching so many people, helping people through this. Mm-hmm.

861.747 - 889.796 Host

It's not always so simple as just one word, but what I find the Akashic to be really monumentally helpful with is patterns. And what I mean with patterns is everyone has patterns, every human, every person. And when we are in patterns, we're not present. So that's like the number one word in spirituality, right? Like be here now, find presence, come back to the now.

890.933 - 913.173 Host

There are some people who are living around 60% of their lives out of presence, even higher. They've mapped this like in the brain. We know that our subconscious dictates, I don't know the exact percentage. I think it's up to 80 to 90% of our daily lives. So we can make assumptions that a lot of us are not living in the present moment, but

914.431 - 933.303 Host

When we look around, you know, why do we want to go, like, what's the point of being present? We're all being driven by our past. So, like, you know, in dating, oh, well, I'm scared this person's going to hurt me because even though that person's done nothing to you, I'm scared of this because of my past.

Chapter 7: What are the patterns that the Akashic Records reveal?

940.767 - 962.331 Host

Right. And To me, the power of the Akashic is that you can go to the past and unhook yourself. So you no longer have that power or that pattern dictating your now. Interesting. Yeah, I used to live in the past for sure in high school. I think most of us do. It's a comfortable place and we don't often even recognize we're in it.

0

962.711 - 966.654 Host

Wow, that's so fascinating because you get these belief systems from the past, right?

0

Chapter 8: How can we break free from past influences?

967.23 - 984.051 Host

Yes, and some are ancestral. Some of these are not even ours. That's the crazy part too. A lot of this is not even ours. We could say it's past life. If you don't believe in past life, we'll say it's ancestral. The truth is it doesn't matter where it came from. It matters that somewhere there's a pattern that's influencing your life now. And

0

985.032 - 1001.698 Host

Like I had one client, just as an example of how it could work. She was deathly afraid at night. Very successful, like amazing woman. But at nighttime, she would always be afraid. And she's like, I don't know why I have this fear. Nothing consciously has ever happened to me to like...

0

1002.378 - 1026.411 Host

influence this fear and we we went into her Akashic she found I didn't find it so I I like to guide people to the root so they can see it for themselves because I find that's even more impactful if you yourself see it than me telling you she found her root she was de-plugged from it and then a few months later I receive an email where she's like oh I just wanted to tell you that um

0

1028.011 - 1050.126 Host

I didn't even notice I'm not afraid of the dark anymore. It happened so gently that like it wasn't until my parents were here that they noticed I'm no longer afraid. I forgot about it. Like I forgot that that even existed. Crazy. Yeah. So that's just a small example, but we all have things in our life that are, you know, pulling us in different ways that we're not fully free from.

0

1050.786 - 1072.638 Host

I used to sleep with the light on as a kid. Yeah. I found out later that my house was haunted. Yeah. So I was shutting off my powers. And I know you experienced a similar thing too, right? Yeah. Where you shut off your powers. Yes. Yeah. You can suppress it. Yeah. What happened with you? I can't trace back to where it all began. I just know it felt like it wasn't safe to be open.

1073.458 - 1075.701 Host

Yeah. I think a lot of children go through that without even knowing.

1076.075 - 1093.371 Host

I agree. I agree. And that's cool that you actually know where it began because now you can go back to, you know, your little self and let him know, again, going back to the past and deep plugging and let him know, Hey, I see that, um, you were onto something. Let me just let you know, you were onto something cause you picked up that this was haunted.

1093.391 - 1106.481 Host

And, um, I know adults may not know that or may not believe in that, but you, you can recognize this and it's okay that you were afraid. Yeah. Yeah. That's the thing, right? Telling your parents, like there's a ghost in my room. They're going to be like, you're crazy.

1106.661 - 1132.297 Host

Yes. Well, actually, now that you mentioned that I did have a moment as a kid where I remember, um, I don't remember the exact situation, but I remember saying something that triggered a fear in adults. Oh, I remember now it, there was a situation where long story short, my, I felt like something bad had happened at our neighbor's house. And, um, My parents were kind of just like, no, it's fine.
