Chapter 1: What are Greg Doucette's legal troubles and reputation?
I had to apply. I had a one-year permission. The lawyers I hired, I had three sets of lawyers who said, you, with the crime that you did, you have maybe a 5% chance of getting it. I'm like, if there's a 5% chance, it's going to be me. Because I'm trying to make a difference. And I'm like, I'm, you know, a popular social media influencer. And I speak out against steroids and dangers.
And who better than the person who did them, that sold them? How do people think I know so much about them?
All right, guys. Got Greg here out in Vegas, man. You here for a little vacation? Six days, yeah. Vacation, work a little bit. Bit of both. Nice. You going to Flex Lewis' gym out here?
I'm hoping to. Yeah, that's definitely on the list to do. I've never been. Really? Shout out to Flex, man. He spoke really highly of you. Told me to say hello. Yeah, it's great. I love Flex. I haven't seen him in a while. He does a show out in the Maritimes where I'm at, the Flex Lewis Classic. So it's been a great show over there. He actually said you're pretty misunderstood.
He said you're like the nicest guy. I think a lot of people assume that just because I call a lot of people out or say they're fake natties or whatever. And I'm like, it doesn't mean I'm a bad person in real life. I just, I don't know. People think I'm going to stream and shout and say bad things to them. But I mean, that's just BS.
I feel like you're the coffeezilla of the weightlifting world.
I would agree with that statement. I just actually did a video with him yesterday. Oh, you did? I hung out for several hours. It was great. It was a good time. Like who'd you expose on there? What was it? Oh, my goodness. He would basically ask me, like, who's the most toxic person? Who would you want to stay with if you had to for a year? Who would you want to avoid?
I mean, there were so many names that came up. It's very eye-opening, I'm sure. Interesting. Were you the first person to start doing that natty or not thing? I would say no. I remember Kenny KO doing Natty or Notts. I also remember Fillion doing Natty or Notts. I think several people were doing them. I just don't think perhaps as much, even Derek from More Plates, More Dates. Yeah.
And I've only done, people think that's all I do. I've done a hundred in total. I've done 3,700 videos. So if you look at it as a percentage, it's like what, 3% of my content, but that's kind of what I'm known for. It gets the most views, right? Yeah. I would say a lot of them get a lot of views, but not the most views.

Chapter 2: Are professional athletes truly natural?
Exactly.
Yeah. In the main event, there's 10,000 people now in the main event.
Oh, it's insane. So crazy. I was so, I like looking at like, I enjoy math and odds and statistics. So it was fun for me, but the addiction, it's just like, I need to stop. I need to get my addiction elsewhere. I mean, I'm just sitting in my house playing, you know, games all night. Right. You were a math teacher, right?
I taught math for five years, but I'm primarily a physical education tier teacher. Like I got my, my master's in kinesiology, uh, I also have my master's in administration. Like I should be a school principal. I don't look like one, but I did study in that. So I taught a bit of everything. Yeah. See, you're a good phys ed teacher. My teachers were fat growing up.
I think that it's important to kind of represent what you're doing. And I mean, I had mixed opinions on that. Like I would go in my master's, there's some teachers that were like 100, 150 pounds overweight. And I'm like- Look, I feel like you should represent the health aspect of it. But like if you're just eating cheeseburg and junk food and you're not trying.
Now, if you are, you know, trying your best and losing some weight, it's like a good message. But to sit there and just be the overweight phys ed teacher, I don't think it's a good representation. Like I don't want my personal trainer to be 100 pounds overweight. Agreed. I definitely agree.
My teacher couldn't even run a lap around the track.
Exactly. I'm like, you guys need to run. I'm running with the kids every day. I'm coaching every single sport. I was coaching eight sports in one year after school, volunteering my time all the time because I love sport. I love seeing the kids active. And so, I mean, that's what I did. That became my life. What's your favorite sport to watch right now? To watch?
I mean, I enjoy the track and field at the Olympics. Really? That's what I like. That's a rare answer. I don't watch sports per se. I don't have time. I stop watching TV. But when it's the Olympics and it's track, like the 100 meters, 200 meters, things that are over quickly, or even if it's swimming, the 50 meter dash, that kind of stuff. I love it's over and done.

Chapter 3: How do steroids affect men and women differently?
I didn't have that pressure because it wasn't like social media. I didn't have a, the Instagram to look at. I had the guys at my gym. I was the biggest guy, the strongest guy as a kid. And I'm like, no pressure. So it was easy for me to stay natural. Hmm. but eventually you caved in. Eventually when my gains stopped, like I was so motivated by improvements.
Like every year I kind of gained like three pounds of muscle, three here, three there. I was doing triathlons at the time. I did 13 years of competitive triathlons and I was bodybuilding at the same time. And so my gains weren't that fast. I was getting like three pounds of muscle a year, but then I stopped doing the triathlons.
And then I was like, oh, now I've gained five pounds because I wasn't doing any cardio really, stopped doing all that stuff. And so I kept getting more and more muscle. But once I hit into my early 30s, I was like gaining like one pound in a year. I'm training perfectly. And I'm like, well, that's it. And I won the Canadian national drug tested championships. Didn't get a pro card.
They didn't get pro cards for that back then. They do now. And so I'm like, if I want to turn pro, I got to use steroids. So I was like, I want to be a pro. I want to be sponsored. I want to make this a career. And that's why I use steroids. Looking back, would you have done the same decision?
No, I would β obviously I have regrets now, and it wasn't only until the last few years where I started having regrets, but it's only because I became old enough that I could reflect and think, well, why did I do that? Why did I need that? Why did I need that glory and that fame? But then I compare it to how much do I want to be on this earth?
And when you get older and you do some more reading, you reflect, you're thinking β It's not that important. It felt important at the time. Like when you're 30 years old, you think, oh, the abs matters a lot. You're like, oh, I don't really look good. I don't have a six pack.
But then think of yourself 20 years from now or 50 years from now, you would pay a million dollars to look the way you did at 30 when you're unhappy. The worst you look like me at 49, I feel pretty good, but let's add a bad, I'm feeling kind of like sloppy. Imagine when I'm 80, I'm gonna look back into this and I would trade in a heartbeat. And so why not be happy with how you look now?
Because 25 years from now, you're gonna look back and be like, man, I looked fine back then. I should have been super happy. That's good advice just in general.
A lot of people think their problems are so big in the moment.

Chapter 5: What is the impact of social media on body image?
He was 100% not natural, and I don't think he was only taking what he stated. So he had stated he was using a diuretic. I forget which one, but he said, yeah, I took diuretics. I'm like, bro, you took a lot more than just a diuretic. And then he talked about how he was depressed after and how he didn't feel good and that it ruined his life and that he would never take that diuretic again.
I'm like, going on and off Lasix, I think it was, isn't going to do that. Taking a diuretic, it makes you pee water. It doesn't fuck up your mind. And so he's like, oh, I can't do that. The mindset, I was depressed. That's taking steroids and then stopping because his testosterone levels were probably super high and then they were crashed after.
And then how many months later was he back on cycle again? He became that freaking wrestler juiced out of his mind. And so he was in that Baywatch, he was on steroids. And admitted to something, but it wasn't the steroids he admitted to. He probably knew better than I can't come out and tell them everything. So he gave us that. And then he became a juiced up wrestler and didn't admit to it.
I made videos on that as well.
Yeah. Greg, it's been awesome, man. Where can people find you and keep up with you?
On YouTube, that's my main spot. I post every single day. Just Greg Doucette or Coach Greg. Also on Instagram. And those of you who speak Mandarin, I'm blowing up on Bilibili in China. That's a huge platform for me. And also on Snapchat. So just type Coach Greg or Greg Doucette and check me out there.
All right. Check them out, guys. Thanks for coming on. Thank you. See you guys next time.
