Chapter 1: What insights does Dave Rubin share about Gavin Newsom?
All right, guys. In DC with Dave Rubin, part two. Thanks for coming back on, my friend.
Yeah. Well, I just want to talk basketball and video games. I mean, I know there's some kind of political event happening here, but hopefully we can do that. Yeah.
Chapter 2: How does Dave Rubin view the debate between Tate and Ben Shapiro?
I'd much rather talk hoops. When Sage came on yesterday, we talked hoops in life. We didn't even talk politics. Nice. She's something, right? She is just big. Is that the first time you met her? We met at AmFest briefly, Charlie Kirk's event. Yeah. Yeah. First time to sit down with her. And wow, she's very impressive.
Yeah. Well, you know, she came from mainstream media and now she's one of us.
Yeah. Similar to you, right?
You're in longer than her now. I know, right? She was asking me for podcast advice. I'm like, Sage Steele is asking me for media advice? You know, it's funny when I saw you last time, which is just like two months ago or so in Vegas, you said to me before we started taping, you were like, oh, Dave, you know, you're one of the OG YouTube guys.
And now you're a veteran compared to someone like Sage Steele from mainstream media.
That's how fast the times change.
It happens quick, man. Yeah.
Because I've only been potting for two years, but I guess that's considered a veteran to some people. And you're still alive. Yeah, I'm still alive.
They didn't take you out?

Chapter 3: What are Dave Rubin's thoughts on Elon Musk's innovations?
San Francisco is ground zero for homeless in America and California is ground zero as a state for homelessness. So everything the guy touches just becomes worse. And yet somehow, I guess, because he's got slick hair, he just hangs around.
There's a certain look to him that is, it's hard to explain, but it kind of feels weird, right?
Well, it feels creepy, doesn't it? It's funny because people will be like, he looks like he should be president. It's like, well, he looks to me like a psychopath. If you saw American Psycho, he is Bateman. I forgot it. Not Jason Bateman. What was the guy's name? Was it Christian? No, it was Christian Bale as the actor. What was Bateman's name in American Psycho? What was his first name?
Someone will get it. We got all these people. We got four people. These guys got phones. What do we got? What was his name? Not Spencer. It was not Norman. That way you're thinking Patrick Bateman. Oh, Patrick, okay. He's thinking Norman from Psycho.
Yeah, yeah.
Which is kind of similar too, actually.
Yeah, it's not so. You see Cali getting what? Billions for homelessness?
And then it's worse. Well, because the point is throwing money at things. I mean, this is what the average Democrat or the average liberal these days
think if you just throw money at things that that's the solution like oh we have an education problem throw money at it if starting the new year off with the fast feels a little daunting you're not alone shout out to today's sponsor prolon they're an entire community of individuals that want you to make meaningful differences in health and it makes fasting so powerful because you have a group of people around you i'm joining their january fasting challenge which is a coach-led program to set you up for fasting success it's a five-day program

Chapter 4: How do politics and innovation intersect in California?
Chapter 5: What is the future of the metaverse according to Sean and Dave?
Yes, I beat Stephen A. Smith in a shooting contest. That's how we should be framing this thing. So I had him on my show, which we had a great conversation. And he's just an interesting guy on multiple fronts because obviously on the... First off, anyone that
talks like this and everything that he says sounds like the most important thing you know so like there's just that part of him and just like the tv personality side that's just so freaking huge but then also seeing the guy kind of be more outspoken about politics and wake up to a lot of the stuff we definitely don't agree on everything we had a little push and pull but the entire time i really just wanted to get him on my court and and shoot around a bit and
I don't know if you saw, he did a contest on- With Kenny, right? With Kenny. And he beat him. He beat him, but Kenny shot lefty. So Kenny's a righty, but he shot lefty, but whatever, still. So we got him out there and we did a quick shooting contest. It was whoever hit five shots first. And I did beat Stephen A. Wow. Free throws or threes? It was free throws. I wanted to do threes, but he's 57.
He said he's not shooting as many threes. but I've got a pretty banged up shoulder anyway at the moment. So, which I just did some peptides for and some other stuff. So I was probably not going to shoot my best threes anyway.
Well, well done beating Stephen A. Smith. That's bragging rights right there.
I have to beat a real NBA player though. It's one thing to beat a broadcaster.
Right. Well, he used to be a hooper though.
No, he, he, I think he played in college.
He played D1 and he got injured.
