Chapter 1: What are the dangers of plastic bottled water?

27.099 - 41.191 Host

All right, guys, here with Ken Gawain, founder and CEO of Ofora. I'm sure you guys have been seeing these guys everywhere. Thanks for coming on, man. Thank you. Thanks for inviting me. Appreciate it. What you pulled off here in such a short time is incredible to watch, honestly, because this feels like a pretty new brand, right?

Chapter 2: How does medical-grade water benefit health?

41.601 - 60.534 Host

Well, it's actually about 15 years. Oh, wow. Air One kind of put us on the map, though. Got it. They found us and we're their best-selling premium water. Really? Yeah. They just came out with their own. Did you see that? Yeah. Yeah. They saw how much you guys were doing and got a little jealous. Yeah. When did they find you guys?

0

61.273 - 85.031 Host

About three years ago. And we're their best selling premium functional water. That's incredible. And we call this functional water. It really does benefit your health. So it's also medical, right? Yeah, it's medical-grade water, which is why it's bottled in plastic. It's nanopure. And you have to bottle nanopure water in glass because it'll leach the water.

85.151 - 92.075 Host

I don't know if you've heard this, but pure water is called the universal solvent, so it'll absorb anything it comes in contact with.

Chapter 3: What are the effects of showering in chlorinated water?

92.135 - 92.595 Host

Interesting.

Chapter 4: What solutions exist for bad water issues?

Chapter 5: How can women protect themselves from water-related health risks?

Chapter 6: What innovations does Ophora offer in water filtration?

52.268 - 60.534 Host

Really? Yeah. They just came out with their own. Did you see that? Yeah. Yeah. They saw how much you guys were doing and got a little jealous. Yeah. When did they find you guys?

About three years ago. And we're their best selling premium functional water. That's incredible. And we call this functional water. It really does benefit your health. So it's also medical, right? Yeah, it's medical-grade water, which is why it's bottled in plastic. It's nanopure. And you have to bottle nanopure water in glass because it'll leach the water.

I don't know if you've heard this, but pure water is called the universal solvent, so it'll absorb anything it comes in contact with. Interesting. So we have to bottle in glass. Right, because if it was in plastic, it's just microplastics.

Chapter 7: How does oxygen level in water affect wellness?

97.358 - 114.87 Host

Well, and that's the problem with plastic. I mean, most plastic bottled water is RO water, which is pretty pure water. So it's literally sucking the toxins out of the plastic and people are consuming it. That's disgusting. That's an issue. Yeah. I actually flew with this from Vegas. Yeah, did you get through TSA?

0

114.93 - 125.601 Host

Yeah. I mean, they stopped me, but I just showed them the back where it says medical grade and they let me through. It's pretty amazing. We have people doing that now. As far as I know, we're the only water that's getting through TSA.

0

125.661 - 136.03 Host

You're definitely the first because people are just finding out about it now at the airport. Even the employees were like, we're going to buy that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You got a great product, man. And you, did you have patents for this company?

0

136.17 - 154.141 Host

So yeah, I'm actually an inventor and I have four, I've been in the water space as it relates to health and wellness for about 35 years. And I have four patents on this water. It's, it's not, it's, it's, um, it's not easy to make. I bet. So the filters, the home filter you sell is pretty expensive, right?

0

154.441 - 166.59 Host

Yeah. Yeah. So but again, it's nano purified medical grade water and it's hyper oxygenated 40 parts per million. So it's You know, the kids call it crack water.

Chapter 8: Why is water quality critical for overall health?

167.01 - 175.615 Host

It's very energizing. Does it filter out fluoride and chlorine? Everything. Yeah. The hardest thing to remove from water today is actually the pharmaceuticals. Oh, the PFAs?

0

175.916 - 199.75 Host

Yeah. I mean, you know, and most of the pollutants we come in contact with every day is actually from not only drinking bad water, but showering and bathing in the water. Our skin's our largest organ. Yeah. 80% of the pollutants we come in contact with is from bathing and showering. Right. Well, there was a new study. They found 100% of microplastics in pupils' testicles. Oh, yeah.

0

200.051 - 212.378 Host

It's everywhere. It's probably from showering and bathing in it. Yeah. Yeah. That's really most of the problems are from... bathing and showering. So is there, you have a filter for the shower, right?

0

212.418 - 228.786 Host

So we have a shower, you know, we, we, we manufacture this water of course, but we also manufacture and sell the systems that make this water. Got it. We have whole home systems that'll literally filter all the water coming into your house. Wow, I need that. I'm buying a house, so I'm going to text you. You do need that at some point.

0

229.507 - 251.473 Host

And they're not inexpensive, but we also have what we call point-of-use systems where we have what we call a bio-shower, and it filters out most of the pollutants. Oh, that's nice. Well, when it comes to health, I can justify $6,000 if it's going to improve my health a lot. Definitely. And for now, you can just put a bio shower in and that'll filter out.

251.814 - 272.342 Host

Okay. So that's the one you screw on? Yeah. Got it. I'm looking at that too. What about baths? Same thing with baths. I mean, you know, most women really like taking baths. And the thing with the municipal water is that – it has a lot of chlorine in it.

272.542 - 297.15 Host

And the chlorine, so like you took a shower this morning, you're wearing a chlorine shell on your skin and that forms with your organic matter, it forms a very carcinogenic material called chloramine. And all the skin cancer that they attribute to the sun isn't from the sun because people are getting skin cancer where the sun doesn't shine. So, you know, chlorine is an issue. That's crazy.

297.25 - 315.143 Host

Yeah. So you don't want to bathe and shower in chlorinated water. So no swimming pools either. No. But we have organic swimming pool systems in the market as well. I'm going to hit you up for that too. Because I do miss the pool and hot tub. I actually stopped going in as much because of that reason.

315.243 - 330.11 Host

It's a good reason. So we manufacture pool and spa systems. In fact, my very first patent when I was a senior at the University of Michigan was for a chlorine-free swimming pool. Wow. It was the best system then. It still is today. So you've been doing this for a while. I've been doing it a while.
