Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip
Stamma special • Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip #293
20 Oct 2019
Welcome, welcome, welcome to episode 293 of the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip! As you may know, Pip is a patron of the Stamma organisation, and this week’s bonus Monday episode is a Stamma special! He is joined by three guests, each having their own individual chat sections with Pip. The guests are George, Owen and Natalie, each stammerers in their own right, and Pip gets into their stories beginning with what they do, and getting slowly into the deeper stories… It’s fascinating to hear everyone relating their relationships with stammers and stutters, which involves their early memories of dealing with it, peoples’ reactions to it and how they were made to realise they were different whether they liked it or not. There are many common factors as you will hear, and really one of the main takeaways is that people would do well to exercise patience when talking to those with stammers. But it’s great to hear every individual chat and what is unveiled - a really interesting insight into the world of stammering, stuttering and the Stamma organisation as a whole.EPISODE LINKS:• STAMMA on TWITTER• STAMMA on THE INTERNET• STAMMA on FACEBOOK• STAMMA on YOUTUBE• STAMMA on INSTAGRAMTHIS EPISODES SPIRIT ANIMALS:• DPP #200 • Jess Thom (Tourettes Hero)• DPP #284 • Joseph GilgunLINKS FOR SCROOBIUS PIP & SPEECH DEVELOPMENT:• SCROOBIUS PIP on TWITTER!• SCROOBIUS PIP on INSTAGRAM!• SCROOBIUS PIP on PATREON!• POD BIBLE!• SPEECH DEVELOPMENT RECORDS • DISTRACTION PIECES NETWORK on FACEBOOK• DISTRACTION PIECES NETWORK on INSTAGRAM• NEW LISTENERS TAKE NOTE • You can find the full DISTRACTION PIECES episode list HERE!
