Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
Hey! Oh my goodness. Wow. Thank goodness. Lots of drama behind the scenes.
Chapter 2: What trades did the Nuggets make during the deadline?
You never know how it's going to go on Trade Deadline Day. Greatest part about that bit vote actually not here I think he thought that was real Well
This is a professional locker room, though. Sure, no. It's a business, man.
I mean, I can't look you in the eyes, but I might get over that.
That was a tough one. We already have our trade. Will there be another one? I highly doubt it, but we already have one trade. We got everybody here. Harrison wins in the building.
Chapter 3: What trades occurred around the league leading up to the deadline?
Perfect timing, man. Can't wait to break down this blockbuster deal. There's nothing more I love in the NBA than getting under the luxury tax.
Chapter 4: How does converting Spencer Jones impact the Nuggets' roster?
It's what every team aspires to do. We did it! We actually did it.
We did it! Kiel, were we able to get those bank statements for the Cronkies? Okay, we'll make a graphic out of it.
But no, this is going to be fun. Obviously, we'll break down the Hunter Tyson trade, talk about all the trades going on throughout the league, see if the Nuggets might be up to anything else. We'll see.
D-Line Co. is also here.
That's right, guys. I am ready for action. I can't... I'm just wondering if this Hunter Tyson salary jump trade is a... just leading into, like, are we going to get Giannis? I think this might have set the table for that. Let's stay tuned. It might happen.

Chapter 5: Who are potential buyout market targets for the Nuggets?
Well, I'm just holding my breath. I'm not going to breathe again until Giannis is ours.
Well, Harrison actually staring the ship today on this trade deadline special. We're going to go for about an hour, and then we'll have our actual show today. We'll kind of be live for this entire hour leading up to see if there will be another deal.
Chapter 6: What was the significance of the Anthony Davis trade to the Wizards?
So what do we got, Harrison?
We got... 52 minutes until the trade deadline.
Oh, God.
Chapter 7: What are the final thoughts on the Nuggets' trade deadline performance?
Scintillating 52. Lots of time for more moves to come in. We do have one trade. The Nuggets just executed a trade in the last couple of minutes.
I think they just executed Hunter.
And it's one we've been talking about that could happen for a bit. It's Hunter Tyson. He's going to the Nets. Nuggets are sending a 2032 second round pick and Hunter Tyson to Brooklyn. They're receiving a 2026 second round pick. So actually a second round pick. Coming up. Coming draft. Oh, hell yeah. In exchange from the Nets. I believe that pick is not Brooklyn's, unfortunately. Damn.
It's the less favorable of a Clippers Hawks 2026 second. So still could be a mid round to early round second.
God, I hope Darren Peterson falls to like 50. I hope you fall slipping. Maybe to bands, you know, some rumors. Yeah.
Can we get like a, like a salacious rumor study, but this move, of course, you know, gets off of Hunter Tyson's salary, gets the nuggets under the luxury tax. It also opens up another roster spot. Oh, hell yeah, dude.
The Nuggets are also converting Spencer Jones, which we can talk about too, but in addition to that, they will now enter the buyout market with one roster spot and enough room under the luxury tax to potentially sign somebody else as well. Can we have a moment?
Please. Can we think about Hunter Tyson and what he brought to the Denver Nuggets? I don't want to just go past this. I want to give the man his due. All right, Cal. Was that him?
Come on. We love all of our Debra Nuggets.

Chapter 8: How does the trade deadline affect the Nuggets' playoff strategy?
But they would save enough to buy a junior producer. That's true.
Expect more hot content coming out of the Nuggets camp.
Do we want to run through some of the more trades that have gone down here?
Sure. I almost feel a little bit like we should linger on this for a little bit. I mean, the one thing I'll say about Hunter Tyson, you were joking. It's a very weird situation that a guy peaks in his first four summer league games. And that really is the case. If you recall, he was first team all summer league. I do recall. He was unbelievable. We were hopeful.
And I don't know that he had a single memorable, like, moment or run after that and it sucks he was a part of the minus seven yes and he was actually an integral part yeah played really well so there you go he got that he got that one but um
The thing that's weird about this one, if you go back and look at Cal, I know a lot of people have mixed views, and every year you put respective changes on Calvin Booth. To me, the Hunter Tyson signing represented, they got, what was it in that one draft? Piwot, Julian, and Hunter Tyson. Or no, it was Hunter Tyson, Pickett, and Julian Strother. Signed all three of them to long-term deals.
And to me, that was one of the, you talk about the egregious missteps, You like your guys. You see around the corner and know that you have to have minimum contracts and they're tradable. But signing two second-round guys to long-term deals is like, that's tough.
And it turned out to play that way, that Hunter Tyson, you ended up just taking up a roster spot for years beyond when you had any belief in him. And it took this long to get rid of him. Fortunately, it didn't cost that much, basically a second-round pick swap. Yeah. It's still a big mistake.
It might have cost a lot in the time he was on the team, just in terms of taking up that roster spot with a guy who was never really trusted for minutes, was never really a real rotation player under Michael Malone or David Adam. He's gotten some more chances this year with the injuries, of course. He's been okay. He's been more of a hustle guy than anything.
