Dois alemães, um francês e um brasileiro/alemão decidiram montar um site pra vender calçados no Brasil em 2011. O site foi um sucesso e bateu um milhão de reais em faturamento diário em menos de um ano. Hoje, a Dafiti é o maior e-commerce de moda da América Latina e faturou 2,5 bilhões de reais em 2019. Além do Brasil, a companhia, pertence ao Global Fashion Group, tem operações na Argentina, Chile e Colômbia.
