También fue ella quien financió el viaje de Cristóbal Colón a la India en 1492. Un verdadero mito en España. Para algunos una gran reina, sin embargo, otros creen que tiene mucha sangre en sus manos. De hecho, junto a su esposo, ayudó a establecer la temida Inquisición, un instrumento de terror que duró casi cuatro siglos.
