Happy happy joy joy people. Myself and Jamie are just gonna sit here for a few minutes and run through some of the best moments and the most celebratory things that have happened during this tour. Things that we really will look back on in time and absolutely love. Thanks very much to HBO Max again. Thanks very much to you for supporting us. You've been on tour a lot longer than I have, and so you also have seen things at some of the games like Martha's Hacker and things like that, you know, which are really, really special.
Just a couple of things for me. Alice Park would probably be the highlight given that uh I was so looking forward to going there. It was a real kind of emotional spiritual thing, family thing, you know, after fifty years of first watching a series and things. But the thing I'm gonna be left with most after being in South Africa actually, Jamie, is the people. And the people that we've met everywhere we've gone, hotel foyers walking down the street, going to games and all of this. And just the friendliness and just people coming up to you wanting to say hi. Um You know, and and and I think a lot of New Zealand travelling public will feel the same way about that. That they've really been welcomed here. So thank you very much, South Africa, for that.
Yeah, absolutely. And it's not just people on the street, it's people we've worked with as well, people that have helped us out on the lot. You know, I think uh first name that comes to mind is a good friend Brendan Nell. um who's basically become a part of the show. Yeah, you are a part of the show, guys. He he he is always keen um to help out. Um helped me out a lot uh in the early stages um just simply 'cause he had a car. Um so yeah, there's just this little things like that. And Just the other journalists as well, just giving us tips and information about things that we would normally not know, you know, like we w you know, South Africa's not in super rugby anymore. We've that's that's been done to death.
But all the information about players, um that we we're not familiar with, um it's been so helpful. Um so yeah, guys guys like Brendan, uh Mike Greenaway, Gavin Rich, um, Kiev Um Keo Morgan, Keo Keo, uh as well. Keo and Zells, uh great guys, uh and Hendrik Cornier um as well. Just too too many to mention. I mean, um j just just uh so you know. Uh there was a media contingent of um I think it was about ninety uh at that last that last test, both uh written press, content creation, and broadcast as well. So I mean that's like World Cup level um amount of media here and the way the media works is you generally kind of work together. Yeah, you do. Um and and a big part of that was the other New Zealand journalists.
