Elon Musk Revisits China, Tesla's Largest Production Hub, Amidst Intensifying Competition

Tesla Inc's (TSLA.O) Chief Executive Officer, Elon Musk, embarked on a significant visit to China on Tuesday, marking his first return to the electric vehicle giant's largest production hub in three years. The visit began with a meeting with China's foreign minister, Qin Gang, in Beijing, setting the tone for a series of high-profile engagements. Musk's visit is the latest in a series of high-profile returns by top U.S. CEOs to China since the country reopened its borders and reversed its zero-COVID policy in December. Earlier this year, Apple's (AAPL.O) Tim Cook visited in March, while JP Morgan's (JPM.N) Jamie Dimon and Starbucks' (SBUX.O) Laxman Narasimhan are also in China this week.
