Embodied and Awake

Meditation and Acceptance

09 Dec 2020

Description

Meditation is a life-changing practice that is accessible to all. The power of a consistent practice has infinite benefits and is an opportunity to drop deeply into the truth of who you are. It is an access point to yourself. We naturally look outwards for that affirmation of our existence, our worthiness, and the acceptance of who we are. When we choose to sit with ourselves regularly, we build an inner muscle of strength, resiliency, and the platform for unconditional acceptance of who we are and our lives on the whole. Today's podcast episode is a candid and personal account of the benefits of meditation practice as well as a sharing of how meditation can truly serve one in the most rattling of moments.   ABOUT ALISON ROTHMAN Alison Rothman MA, host of Embodied and Awake, has been a devoted meditator for nearly a decade. She has literally survived a near-death experience unshaken due to her meditation practice, and continues to navigate the ups and downs, ins and outs of life with presence and wholeness as a result of her early morning sits. Alison has many online offerings tapping into the practice of meditation amongst other practices, as well as her Body-Centered Coaching, to support women in grounding in a life-experience of unwavering acceptance of the truth of who they are. She will be offering The Acceptance Circle as a part of the Grow Circles Program beginning on January 1st, 2021.
