Cody is a former preacher, former firefighter, father of 6 and leader of the men’s movement and coaching group the Iron Society. In this episode Cody and I do a deep dive into the word Identity and why it if so important and foundational. You see - a ton of Dad gurus out there - whether it be in fitness, entrepreneurship, or whatever the case - they harp on discipline.  They say you have to be like Jocko - get up at 3:30 every morning, get a lift, be super strict with your diet, time box your day, and all the other life hacks that help drive success.  And I agree. But what Cody and I talk about today is that you can go down this road and be as disciplined as you want - but if you don’t know WHO you are - you may end up at a destination that is not supporting you or your family.  The first thing we need to do as Dads is define who we are. Cody calls this the identity code - and I am fascinated with it.
