Where is your energy? Are you consistently feeling the LACK of what you want? Or are you intentionally getting into a feeling space of abundance. We can say and affirm we want X or Y, but if our feeling state (energy) is feeling the LACK of those things, then we won't get anywhere because we are a match to that lack. We have to transcend our currently reality and get into the feeling state of what it feels like to live that dream reality. A powerful way to do that, is to utilize visualization.
