[ENGLISH] At the age of 20 Sebastian Samuelsson wins gold and silver at his first Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. He’s one of the great hopes for the Swedish biathlon nation and expected to be the next athlete who’ll fight for the big crystal globe. But the years after the Olympics are tough for Sebastian. While he improves in the total score, he rarely visits the podium until the previous season. With the opening in Kontiolahti he shows that he can live up to the expectations and claims his first world cup victory. With several podiums and four medals at the WCH he’s one of the most successful athletes of the season 2020/21. We talk with him about his origin-story in biathlon, his goals for the upcoming olympic season and why he’s so strong on the final lap. Er ist eine der großen Hoffnungen für das schwedische Biathlonteam und die Erwartungen auf den Kampf um den Gesamtweltcup steigen mit ihm. Aber die ersten Jahre nach den olympischen Spielen sind hart für Sebastian. Während er sich im Weltcup verbessert, ist er nur selten auf dem Podium bis zur vergangenen Saison.
