Awfully. Yeah, well, my dad is from Crumlin. He grew up in Crumlin, so maybe that twang has caught on.

Yeah, yeah, all of them, yeah. Terrible.
Oh, you're from Offaly, so you grew up in Offaly?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, cool.
Yeah, even though, yeah, I was like born in Wicklow, that's where my parents were living and then we moved down to Offaly when I was like two. But I was only ever a blow-in, you know.
So, right. Tell me about your mum and dad. What were they like? Or your family, I suppose, growing up. How many of their... Yeah, just me and my brother.
You and your brother, that's it. Yeah, we lived kind of close to my granny. And then even though like my aunts and cousins lived in different counties, like we were all to each other every weekend because we'd be in our granny's house and stuff. And we lived so close to our granny as well. So, yeah.
Mum and dad was Thelma and Eamon. Okay, so what were they like? What were your mum and dad like?
Yeah, no, they were great. Like, my mam was the most caring person ever, kind, would drop anything for you. Like, she was just the most kind-hearted caring person ever. Me and her gone like a house on fire. We just had the same sense of humor. We're slagging each other and other people. Like, it was great. And she was just kind of, she, like, her profession was like she cared for people with like disabilities and mental disabilities. So she was literally a carer by trade. So that's like she was like made for that. And then my dad was like, yeah, he's just great. He's the real like rock and like the real leader of it all, as he'd be delighted to hear me describing him as that now. And Yeah. Growing up, I used to think like there were no second chances with him.
Like if you cross him or kind of fell out with him, it just felt like that was it.
