So take me back and tell me when he was born. What age were you?
So I was six when Ryan was born. Yeah, Ryan was born on the 28th of February, 1997. And it was always a running joke in our house that he was almost the leap year child. We used to tease him about it a lot when he was younger. He didn't like it. Really? Yeah, yeah. The older he got then, he kind of realised that he used to have been messing with me all along.
Were you the only child before he came?
Yeah, just two of us.
Stop. So were you absolutely buzzing when he was born?
Yeah, of course. I was spoiled rotten, of course, growing up, you know, but then buzzing. Yeah, I was. I was buzzing when he was born. This little like tiny little thing and his little kind of brownie ginger hair. And he was just so chubby.
