I'm very excited for it. Before we get to that, uh we just took a family trip of sorts, you and I. Yeah, I mean Obviously a family trip because uh we were together. Right. Um, but also there is something to be said for chosen family. A hundred percent. That's why I believe it to be a family trip of of sorts. Yeah. And uh and we have been taking this trip with these fellas, this group of guys for two Twenty if twenty one years now? I think we're twenty one years into our fantasy football draft trip. Before you roll your eyes at the fact that we take a trip for a fantasy football draft, uh that is the least it has grown into the least important part of the weekend. Yeah. And it's uh it's the most disliked part of the weekend.
Yeah. I mean the actual draft. The actual draft where we have to sort of stop doing all the things we're doing. Uh we have to stop talking to each other because we're so easily distracted now that sometimes you think you're waiting for somebody to make a pick and it turns out they're just fully in a conversation with one of their oldest friends and have paid no attention to where they are in the draft order. Yeah. So it becomes very frustrating. Uh so that is but that is uh oh you know, uh we sort of have planted this flag in the ground with our families and this is the weekend we do it. And uh yeah, it's it's two decades and these are uh me and Pashi and ten other guys that we have known since we were eighteen years old.
And it's uh it's pretty amazing. Uh we were uh on Diamond Lake in Michigan, um, which was just lovely. Uh our friend uh Freshie. Is married to uh Claire and it was Claire's parents' house and big shout out to the Hammises who Thank you very much. Thank you for having us.
