With harvest season already here, it's time to start preparing your fields for next year's planting. Our friends at Brandt Agricultural Products have a high-speed disc that is made to manage residue, condition your seedbed, level ruts, and reclaim wetlands in the most challenging of conditions. Their high-speed disc is built to last with high-quality components, robotic welding, and a heavy-duty frame that will deliver better ground engagement. For a limited time, you can receive a rebate of up to $10,000 and achieve better results with every pass in your field. Visit brandt.ca for more. That's B-R-A-N-D-T dot C-A for more information. From the first pass to the last load, Ag Leader helps make harvest a dream by keeping your entire operation working together.

In the combine, get seamless steering plus new zero corn header row guidance and yield monitoring all from one display. Then with Cardace, see the whole operation and auto steer your grain cart for easy unloading on the go. Ag Leader, harvest with confidence.

Every farmer is different. But I think part of it, and this is such a generic term and it bothers me, is just like stigma, right? For some reason, there is a long-standing stigma about talking about real things. I can't explain it. So we're trying to break through that. I love the storytelling approach. I love making that a more normal conversation. That's really one of the pillars of FarmDog is making this a normal conversation that's actually the entire story behind the brand and the name.

Welcome back to the Farm for Profit podcast. Excited to dive into this interview. I think besides the Oh My Dog podcast that we help produce, we've never had a dog in studio or on the podcast.
Corey Hillebo 1:44
No. I mean, I haven't even been there. You have been the one. You've had dyed-haired little Maltesers

and
Corey Hillebo 1:50
things like that. We've had giant farm dogs. We've had sheep

dogs. So, million-dollar question, why do we have a dog on the podcast?
Tanner Winterhof 1:58
I don't know. It's probably because the listeners suggested it through connect at farmforprofit.com. Either that or they texted us at five. No, I don't think anybody asked for a dog. You
Corey Hillebo 2:06
should have more dogs on the podcast. We
Tanner Winterhof 2:08
should have more dogs on the

podcast. I've heard more cattle,
Tanner Winterhof 2:10
but not. Yeah. Oh, man. Walking around Farm Progress Show, the number of people that have said, when's your next cattle episode coming out? Uh-huh. Holy smokes. We're going to dive into a multifaceted conversation. It's all going to hinge upon a common theme, but we've got two different parties with us. Excited to dive into that topic right now. Sam, you're sitting close to me, so you get to go first. Would you introduce

yourself to our audience? Sure, yeah. My name is, well, thanks for having me, guys. We appreciate being here. My name is Sam Goldberg. I grew up in New York City. I live in rural Pennsylvania now, and I've always wanted to be a filmmaker. So I write, produce, and create films and TV shows about agriculture. Started with the movie Silo, which the Sukup Company got behind and helped us make in Sheffield, Iowa, but also in Kentucky where we filmed. And I'm here releasing a TV show called Perfect Sundays about a dairy farm that turns into an ice cream business. But I'm also a dad, got two kids, Tal is seven, Moti is four, my wife Rupa, awesome people, and just love being at farm shows and happy to be here.

And
Tanner Winterhof 3:08
we
Corey Hillebo 3:08
remember, I thought it was like the day Sunday. That's like, you mean like the ice cream Sunday.
Sam Goldberg 3:13
So it's a double meaning. So perfect Sunday. So every episode takes place on a Sunday, six episode miniseries. And I'm sure I'll tell you a bit more about it, but it's about a family that does ice cream Sundays on Sunday from their own milk.
Corey Hillebo 3:25
Okay.
Sam Goldberg 3:26
And, uh, yeah. So why is the Y a different color? My wife would be so happy you asked that question. She did the logo. So it's really about the fork in the road that a lot of farmers face on their farms. Oh, fair

enough.
Sam Goldberg 3:37
These

producers are so clever. So clever. I love this. All right. The dog in the room. Margo? Isn't it usually the elephant in the
