Chapter 2: How does a sinus infection affect podcast production?

What was I going to say? So if you want to, if you like hunting, any of that kind of stuff, long range ish, but kind of leans more towards hunting, go over and, uh, listen to the let's go hunt podcast. Uh, they're in, in Colorado and kind of out West. So, um, what they do doesn't really translate to what we do. Um, they do a lot more, uh, spot and stalk. They do a lot more long-range stuff.
We do a lot of tree stands and blinds. Yep. Just put the cord out and pray they walk by. Yeah, now that you can actually do that now. Well, you can always do it. It was out of sight, out of mind kind of a thing. Yeah, but I feel like it was also slightly up to the discretion of the individual to
um officer it always felt really sketchy like the way that they talked about it was like you know this guy might be okay but this guy you might be going to jail yeah there's like 400 pounds of corn behind a wall. But can't see it. Yeah, I don't know. But every deer in a 10 mile radius has fattened up with corn.
Well, you just go over there and you dump corn for the first over the summer and then they think it's there. So then they're going to show up anyway.

Chapter 3: What unique challenges do hunters face with game baiting laws?
Can you go away? No. No. Go away? No? You're not going to go away? Okay. I feel like that stock by itself is $100. Hope we do have another update. But let's talk about the shotgun real quick. I kind of want the shotgun because you're going to be able to build it the way you want to build it.
So my thought process is, is I'm going to buy me a shorty and I'm going to SBR it or SBS it because there's zero dollar tax debt now. So what I could do is I can go in and buy the receiver, get it transferred in and I could get it form one. Is that how you do it? Switch it to an SBS and then build it like a 14 inch shotgun. and then you, or whatever, whatever it comes with mag tube wise.
And then you put them suckers, them, uh, mini shells. If it has the mini shell hanger, I don't know if it does or not, but you put them suckers in there, you know, like 18 shots, even in a 14 inch barrel. Yeah. Uh, I think that that'd be kind of cool. Um, but kind of build that how you want it. I love that. It's got the RMR. I don't know if I would want to die or not. I don't, I don't know.
Shotguns are kind of iffy to me with that. And most people don't believe that it's the best thing for home defense. A rifle is a much better option. Whatever you can get your hands on. Yeah, I agree with that. But my other thought process is if you understand how a shotgun works, the problem is that most people are like, I just aim it down the hall and I just take them out.
Like, no, you still got to aim. But if you aim well... You're taking chunks off of people. You're not hitting them once. You're taking body parts off and putting it on the floor, as Clint Smith would say. What was it? Pistols for putting holes in people. Rifles for putting holes through people. And shotguns taking parts off people. And throwing it on the floor.
So here is the last update from Palmetto for this week. I'm sure that they will have another one tomorrow. That's what I'm actually excited for. I am too, but this is the price point that I just don't know. Surprises me every time. This update is on the Sabre Lancet. You see the whole thing? You see it? You see it?

It's not really heavy. Like he didn't struggle at all. He's just like, which he made lift weights. I don't know. We showed the Sabre Lancet off last year at SHOT Show 2025. It is a semi-automatic 50 BMG with a welded on top Picatinny rail. We took a rough prototype to SHOT Show last year and we got some feedback from you guys and have made some changes.
Some of the feedback that we got from you guys last year was that you did not like how round it was. So we added some angles to the handguard as well as the receiver. Yeah. We also made the handguard separate from the receiver. We did that so that way you can change the handguard length if you want to put a different barrel on this.

So here, I flipped it over and repositioned the name so we can have a pyramid to pyramid comparison. Now, although this new one doesn't yet include like servings per group or anything, it's pretty obvious that there's been some jumbling in the middle.
But the big news is the stuff at the top and the bottom have switched places. Still hard to visualize. So you know what I did? I recut the old familiar pyramid to roughly align with the new. I call it the Jenga edition. The real question is, is this good news? Maybe. Maybe not. Here's what I'm going to do.

We could put better radar and sonar installations that deal more with Russia over there because if they were to do anything, it would come across the Atlantic than the Pacific because eastern Russia is pretty much a barren wasteland.
