Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
Camouflage isn't just for the woods, it's for looking cool. Camerado makes gear that disappears in nature, but looks good at Costco. Zero tactical cringe. Camerado. C-A-M-O-R-A-D-O dot com.
Welcome to the Firearms Insider Gun and Gear Review Podcast, episode 612. This episode is brought to you by XS Sights and Walker Defense. In this show, we'll be discussing a T-Sauce double stack review. We got some stuff left over from last week and I threw in another optic. As you may know, we showcase guns, gear, and anything else you might be interested in.
We do our best to evaluate products from an unbiased and honest perspective. I'm Chad Wallace, host of the most dedicated firearm podcast around. With me tonight we have Tony Robb and Rusty. And... Also, Walker Defense will provide shooters with the finest, most innovative quality tactical accessories and firearm components around. They have their Nile grip panels and those Nero muzzle brakes.
I actually think I got both of those hanging around my desk here somewhere. Oh, these are the FDE Nile grip panels. But hey, they're still the Nile grip panels. Now, no details are ever left behind. Only top quality materials are used in the manufacturing process. Together, all of that gives you some of the best firing performance around. Everything they have to offer is probably made in the USA.
Walker Defense, where American ingenuity meets bleeding edge technology. Now, our Walker Defense Product of the Week this week is the Nero 9, which I happen to have sitting right here. If you use code INSIDER15, you'll get 15% off everything over at walkerdr.com. And that segues nice into what I have here is, see, I got this high point SBR, thanks to the Form 1 paperwork coming back.
And I'm seriously thinking... about putting this Nero 9 on this 9mm SBR. See?
That's what it's for now, isn't it?
It's a 9mm. I mean, let's screw it on here.
Look at the squirt gun now.

Chapter 2: What are the key features of the Tisas double stack 1911?
We're going to have a good time. We're going to be a lot of 2A advocates there. We're going to have fun getting together and actually celebrate freedom in Florida. And then, boom, end of the month, we have another diversity shoot at We Shoot. It's already sold out. Don't call me asking. We sold that out at the end of the month.
I think before the end of January, we'd already sold out the event at We Shoot. And then we're going into March. So that's when that sadly, uh, one of the ranges who were supposed to be in a March had a range fire. Uh, and they will, they should be open by the end of this month because March 5th is when we have the diversity shoot at Union Hill gun club. So hopefully they'll be back on.
I'm not even going to call them and bother them right now and ask them if they're going to be ready by then, because that's ignorant. Um, But a week out or maybe two weeks out, I'll ask them if I can start promoting that they'll be back. They'll have the range back open by then. If not, we're skipping it. We'll be out at the end of March to the next event. All right.
So that's what's happening with diversity shoot dot com. Give us some support if you can. I will be at the Great American Outdoor Show Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. As for their work, they're. owned by the NRA now, so we're going to have some fun. I'll be at the High Point booth. I'll be over at Diamondback trying to shoplift one of their revolvers.
Man, we should have talked about a Diamondback.
I'm going to be a Diamondback. Listen, if you guys want to reach me on my social media, because I'm back on Instagram at Simon Says Training, you want me to look at something specific at the great American outdoor show. Even if you're hearing this on Friday, I'm there Saturday and Sunday, hit me the frig up and let me know. So I can throw a video up.
I'll do a live or we'll talk about it on the show Tuesday. So if you want, please do. Uh, thank you very much for supporting it. We're going into year 11, y'all year 11 of diversity shoots and me talking about it here. And thank you all for all the support you give me in that time, because it is humbling and, And it is greatly appreciated, especially when you guys run up on me at shows.
I'll probably see some people. Great American Outdoor Show that knows me from here and supported us from the beginning. Thank you very much. If you see us, say something. If you see me, please come up. Because sometimes when you're doing stuff, you don't realize how many people actually appreciate what you do. And it's kind of good feedback. Really, it is, especially when it gets hard.
Understand in the state I'm in, we're always under attack. We just got a new governor. They're going to be pushing more stuff. So sometimes, yes, I need that up. I need that. Hey, dude, thank you very much for the work you do.
