Camouflage isn't just for the woods. It's for looking cool. Camerado makes gear that disappears in nature, but looks good at Costco. Zero tactical cringe. Camerado. C-A-M-O-R-A-D-O dot com.

As you may know, we showcase guns, gear, and anything else you might be interested in.
Chapter 2: What are the benefits of the Walker Defense NERO 556?
We do our best to evaluate products from an unbiased and honest perspective. I am Chad Wallace, host of the most dedicated fire podcast around. And I say that because, well, we have Tony here tonight. And Rob, but Tony's sick. He's got the New Jersey cred or whatever you want to call it. So he's got an excellent sounding Tony voice tonight.
So if he sounds a little rough, he looks a little rough too. Thank you so very much. You're welcome, Tony. I would only expect the same from you. So, first up, we have Walker Defense. They provide shooters with the finest, most innovative quality tactical accessories and firearm components around. From those Nile grip panels to the Nero muzzle brakes, no details are ever left behind.
Of course, only top quality materials are used in the manufacturing process. Together, all that gives you some of the best firearm performance around. Everything they have to offer is proudly made in the USA. Walker Defense, where American ingenuity meets bleeding edge technology. Now, our Walker Defense Product of the Week is their OG, the Nero 556. They are back in stock.
Also, if you use code INSIDER15, you'll get 15% off everything at walkerdr.com. The other thing I was going to say is... You know, since we're down to what we did in firearms, I'll just talk about this now because you know how it is. So I went shooting this weekend. Lance went out with me, too.
He wanted to shoot the T-Sauce and see if he wanted to shoot it at the match in June, which, of course, he does over Christmas. Which didn't surprise me. I'm probably going to shoot the high point SBR, but I had it out too. And that thing with an M4 stock on it, no recoil pad, that thing beats you up. And so speaking of Walker Defense, I'm going to shoot it some more with the Mantis system on it.
And then I'm going to put this Nero 9 on it and see if it makes much of a difference.

Chapter 3: How does the Stoeger STR-45 Combat perform?
And, you know, if I'm lucky, something we're talking about tonight would make a good addition to just to try it out, Tony. I mean, who knows? I could really that. But I did go that. I did do that. I also was able to pick up the Mac 9 that came in. So I shot three things. Nine mags through it, so what's that? 270 rounds while we were out there.
Of course, after I took some pictures of it, of course, I had to deck it out. So, of course, now it has... The dual side folder from Strike Industries, their brace, because, you know, it's a pistol, and I had it laying around. That Zerotech 1X FD prism they sent is also, you know, on it because I was like, oh, that was good timing since it just came in.
Otherwise, I was going to put a red dot on it. So I did that. That stuff's on there. This is their flash hider that comes with it. It's like an A1. It's also a tri-lug. I did shoot it suppressed. Of course, it's a blowback 9mm, so you do get some blowback. Other than that, the thing ran good. I mean, it's a 9mm PCC, but it takes MP5 mags. So, yeah, that was pretty cool.
It has less recoil than the High Point SBR, which I understand why High Point on their regular stocks puts that little recoil reduction thing in there. But, yeah.
Well, all the chodes that do the review, oh, it stops the mighty recoil of the 9mm PCC.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Chapter 4: What features does the Zerotech Vengeance HD 1-10x28 offer?
Yeah.
Yeah. Because I've shot both the high point with the regular traditional high point stock with the springs in it.
Right.
And I fired the high tower armory chassis system.
Yep.
Yeah, with the bullpup. And, I mean, I don't really tell the difference because of the extra weight. uh, of the, the bullpup and maybe the fact that it has a full and wide, uh, rubber or at least stock. So it's, so it's a little wider now. I understand we have women and children shooting this thing with no problem.
Oh yeah.
So, and that's the thing now when we're talking 14 inch barrel with that little narrow frigging M two cheesy, uh, And you're just getting like punches in the arm.
And that's the thing is, is I had just, and I had shot it before and it's just, I shot it more this weekend with that. And it's just a cheap M4 stock, you know, no butt pad, just the standard cheap one. And it definitely kind of beats you up a little bit. Not, I mean, like you said, it's still nine millimeter, but compared to the regular high point or compared to other stuff I've had on it, um,

Chapter 5: How does the Hi-Point Hush-Point 22 compare to other firearms?
Rifle or mid-range.
Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, it does different because the carbine, of course, is worse.
Yeah, the carbine is ridiculous because I run a rifle. And then the other one is a mid. So when I was doing Rob's dad's rifle.
Yeah.
it was a carbine and I had that set up for people too.
Yeah.
And that kick, that's, that's a sharper record.
It's more like a blowback nine millimeter. Yeah. But I get you. And I think, And I don't know if this is true or not, but to me, if you're running a carbine gas system, it doesn't work well with a 16-inch barrel. But if you have like an 11-inch barrel, it smooths it out over the 16-inch barrel. And I don't know if that's just because half the gas is going out the barrel. Probably. I don't know.
That's above my pay grade. So that's what I did. Rob? Rob?

Chapter 6: What is the purpose of the FAB Defense recoil reduction stock?
Those are expensive to maintain.
yeah no kidding iranians finally got over here for some payback and and then there was a well it was that and a german trainer uh one of their jets and they were i'm assuming they were privately owned and more likely yeah yeah and they were they were at the local airport where they can land jets by where i work and
I've talked to the pilots who fly those things and they say for every hour flying, they spend five hours in the maintenance shop.
Well, and the thing is, is they flew quite a bit, but they were flying out over the coast, like out in the open water. So I figured they could, cause you can do more there than you can over land.
There's a few of them that run out of Florida. What they like to do is take their planes out in the Gulf where they get beyond the three mile limit and hit the afterburner.
Yeah. Yeah, man. I figured that that's what they were doing.
Cause I don't have afterburners, but they can hit the gas and,
you know over there you know it doesn't matter how fast you go right or they can fly lower they can they can do all kinds of stuff that they can't do over over populated areas i think 10 000 feet you can't do more than 250 yeah 250 knots but that's nothing for those airplanes no no that's exactly but it was pretty cool because they were low enough you could see them you could see them flying so dude you got air shows with them things those are freaking loud
Oh, yeah. Yeah, they were pretty loud anyway. So this is the Gun and Mig show. Rob's getting one soon.

Chapter 7: What makes the Echo Trace Saboteur suppressor unique?
And what you learn if you're an NRA BIT, which is basic instructor training, they teach you how to teach lots of concepts, lots of stuff like that. And I got my initial one through Gun for Higher Range in Woodland Park. And it was really good training. And so was this Tom Ellis. He taught the class and he's the NRA. I think he's a.
He's on the NRA board as – he's not the head of training, but he's on the board. And he was there and was able to squeeze me into a class because I wanted to be done with this before I went to NRA in the middle of next month. And that was pretty much the first class I could get into. Then we went downstairs to the gun shop. And, again, I do apologize.
Next week I'll tell you what gun shop it was because I have to finish up the shooting part and the class instruction part this coming Saturday. But what they had down there that was really cool was a freaking Pennsylvania police trade in Smith and Wesson Model 10 with the heavy barrel. The wide frigging hammer, cocking hammer serrated with the wide trigger.
And that's the way I think it was motorcycle police carried theirs back in the day. And also their special units had that particular one. Now, the regular PDs had heavy barrels. That was it. But the higher end or the more well-trained dudes that were probably going to get in the gunfights. They had the one with the wide target trigger and the wide target hammer.
Hammer spur. Yeah.
Hammer spur. Yeah, it had a wide hammer spur. So pretty much it was set up that if they had to cock it and pull the trigger, they could get off a more precise shot. One easier cock to hammer shot. And with that wider trigger, it didn't lighten up the trigger pull, but it made it feel as if the trigger pull was lighter because you had more surface area. And they had two of these on sale.
And let's just say it ain't bad. I mean, it's the cost of a new Glock, but you're getting a piece of history that nobody else has.

Chapter 8: What are the specifications of the Civivi Altus fixed blade knife?
And it was a no-dash trigger. So it was original Smith. There was no dash model 10. Nice. Had to be from the seventies. I think I have no dash.
Probably. That's pretty cool.
Yeah, I'll tell you guys next week. Again, I do apologize because I'm a moron.
Just tell us it's because you're sick.
Sure.
I mean, we're not going to disagree that you're a moron, but I'm trying to give you an out here, Tony.
Yeah, bro. It's bad, this cooties that I have. So I'll go back next week and we're going to do the trigger pulling there. And it's going to be a lot of fun. The Delaware Valley. Delaware Valley. Come on, man.
Well, you got part of it.
Delaware Valley Sports Center.
