Welcome to the Firearms Insider Gun and Gear Review Podcast, episode 620. This episode is brought to you by Excess Sights, High Point Firearms, Walker Defense. In this show, Rusty reviews a folding boy. Yeah, that's what I said too. We also talk about an RMSC optic, a new rimfire rifle, a new rifle red dot, and another 365 chassis.
As you may know, we showcase guns, gear, and anything else you might be interested in. We do our best to evaluate products from an unbiased and honest perspective. I am Chad Wallace, host of the most dedicated firearm podcast around. Also with me tonight, we have Tony Robb and Rusty. And that leads us to High Point Firearms. And they've been crafting American-made firearms for over 30 years.
If you're looking for your first firearm or just want something fun at the range, High Point has you covered with models including handguns, pistol caliber carbines, and AR-15s. They even have a new suppressor line. High Point firearms can be found at extremely affordable prices, making them available for anyone that wants to protect themselves and or their families.
Every High Point also comes with a lifetime warranty, and most of their products are 50-state legal. High Point firearms, made by the American working man for the American working man. Now, our high point product of the week is not a high point. It is the Full Forge Gear Shelter Plate Carrier. Because, of course, you know...
You know, somebody said I was allowed to, you know, put full forge gear in here. So I figured why not put a plate carrier?

Chapter 2: What are the features of the Foxtrot Mike Foldy Boy?
And I think somebody, Rusty, I think has one. You don't have to find it, Rusty. He's still looking for it now.
So there you go.
There you go.
I pointed down.
Yeah.
So. Also, congratulations to Charles Brown. That's right. Of High Point. MKS Supply. Yep. He's now on the board of directors for the NRA. And again, this is a guy I had conversations with a decade or more ago about this. And he's on the same page as all of us. So we have yet another member of the reformers on the NRA board of directors. NRA is changing fast, dude.
Every year they take more and more seats and push the freaking FUD asshole forward. out yeah um actually they all they all ran for the foundation so the nra actually spun around a whole lot quicker because these assholes decided to try to grab the financial reins and they left the nra so this is the time to actually join fellas oh yeah
All right, I'll talk about this when we talk about where we didn't go.
Okay, because, you know, now if you want to support High Point, you can visit high-pointfirearms.com, check out their line of products. Now, if you want a discount on a High Point firearm, use code GGR and you get $20 off a High Point firearm at shootammo.com. Now we're into what we did in firearms, so you might as well just keep going, Tony.

Chapter 3: How does the Foxtrot Mike Foldy Boy compare to other PCCs?
All right, what we did in firearms this week. Now, I went to get recertified an NRA firearms instructor. And as part of that, I didn't realize that I had to rejoin the NRA myself to do it because I haven't been a member because, again, I thought they were effing up. So I stepped away from them. I mean, I'm not telling anyone to do what I did. So I re-signed up for NRA. I took the stupid thing.
I joined. And now as an NRA instructor, I'm going to go ahead and hook people up. I got to find out what code it is. But each week I'll be putting something in that if you join NRA, you can join using my code, whatever the hell they give to me as an instructor. And I think we can get $15 for anybody that signs up, which means you join NRA, money will come to me for the diversity shoot.
So that'll be awesome because, I mean, truthfully, after all these damn years, about time NRA did something to help a brother out. If it's nothing but... I'm telling you right now, man, they've never... The NRA... You know what I mean? The NRA organization has never done anything for me as an individual.
It has always been board members and people that are on that believe in our mission, but it's never been the NRA. So if I can get $15 for everybody that joins, cool. Again, I'm not telling you you have to join. I'm just telling you it's changing fast and it's becoming the organization you want. And I think I've been doing that for over two, three years now.
When the first reformer actually goes back to when Anthony Calandro ran and I tried to get him elected. And also, God damn it, Adam Kraut.
Oh, yeah, that guy.

Chapter 4: What is the significance of the RMSc optic discussed?
I was encouraging people to join and fight. So I haven't changed that. If you wanted to change it, this is what you have to do. Oh, and I got when I qualified for instructor, we had to go and shoot our qual. And I have to say, I haven't been dry firing my pistol. So first two rounds were low and to the right.
When I shot and then the three on paper, all it is is five rounds, like seven yards or something. Then they push it out to 15 and have you do it again. Targets about this big, which I think is about a four in circle. I pulled two rounds off. And then, of course, through another five rounds and a hit center, you know, rapid fire. All right, we're done. Let's move.
Well, Todd Ellis, my instructor, said, hey, why don't you try this? And pulls out the Jerry Miklick 9mm Smith & Wesson that's on that end frame. I think it's called a 929. And he was like, try this. It's 15. 15 yards. First three rounds went through the same hole. That thing is ridiculous, bro.
Yeah.
Nice. That thing is ridiculous. First three rounds, same hole.

Chapter 5: What are the specifications of the Savage 110 RF Core Tactical?
If I would have just focused on front sight, I probably would have kept it tight. But I was like, wait a minute. Did I miss? You know what I'm saying? It was like, all right, front sight alignment, front sight picture, you know, trigger squeeze, breath control, pow, follow through, pow, follow through, pow, follow through. Then I looked at the target and was like,
Tony, can I tell you something? You know, when we were young, we would have noticed that wasn't just one hole.
Yeah, I know. When we could see better, we would have noticed. But I'm like, that's pretty big. Again, 15 yards, 9 millimeter rounds. I'm like, that's kind of big. And then I just started concentrating on hitting that and I couldn't get back to it. I did make multiple one-holers after that. I think I fired like 20... I think I did like four reloads at eight rounds apiece.
So, I mean, you know, 32 rounds. It's just a fun gun. I was looking... I was trying to find it on Smith & Wesson's garbage website and as close as they had was the 929... JMW are the world record when it has a red dot on it and it doesn't look like it has a rare sight So I couldn't find the one that I was actually shooting so it was a lot of fun It was a good time.
It was going through an RA instructor course Which is a good solid basic course that teaches you how to teach and it also teaches you an RA method some of its silly like you don't call a firearm a weapon and I'm like, but it is. Well, anything can be a weapon. Yes. Including a firearm.

Chapter 6: What are the benefits of the ZeroTech Thrive HD Red Dot?
So I called it one. Anything can be a vehicle from a little red wagon to a Kenworth. It's all of it.
That's right. Your feet are technically a vehicle.
Yeah, but not everybody can competently operate a Kenworth.
Not everybody can operate a little red wagon.
Exactly. Exactly.
I live in Jersey. Anyone in front of me can operate a little red wagon.
Yeah, no kidding.
You ever been riding a little red wagon out there and you turn the wheels too fast, the handle too fast, the wheels turn all the way, and you flip that sucker over? Oh, God, yes.
I think we all have. Why do you think we all have a face for radio?

Chapter 7: How does the JL Billet Reaper 365 chassis enhance performance?
Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. That makes sense. Well, Rusty, do you do anything besides send me some pictures?
I sent you some pictures. I did. I'll tell you what it is.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Well, you were the one talking about it. You were talking about OnlyFans earlier, Tony.
I went down a path and I ordered a shotgun. And I was very excited about it. And I ordered the Mac Mac. uh, was it the 10, 12? Could be. Yep. Yeah.
Uh, yep.
Yep.
Well, the three gun model, 24 inch barrel.
Yeah.
And then, um, yep. And then I, to go ahead and make it better. I got the Terran tactical, which is, I hated to, um,

Chapter 8: What listener feedback was shared in this episode?
Loading gate? Is that what that is?
The picture's too low. So this one, you don't get your thumb stuck in there, and you can jam two at a time in there. And from what I read, I went down a rabbit hole one day, and I was sitting there, and I was bored. I had about six, seven hours without doing anything at work, and I was just going down and down and down a rabbit hole. And I found this, and I was like, you know what?
The price is not bad. I mean, actually, for what it is, they're giving it away. It was tax, title, shipping out the door, $397. Yeah. And I was like... I can't beat this because I'm fixing to start shooting clays with some people for like an EMS team. And then I was like, I want a shotgun that I can shoot clays with the house and that I can turkey hunt with.
And I was looking for one that had that right in the middle barrel length. And I was like, this thing fits all the little niches because I've got like a Winchester 1400, but it doesn't have a threaded barrel on it. And I've got pump shotguns and I got over and unders and stuff. And I wanted something that more modern. And because I don't do a lot of shotgun. I think I'm going to start.
And I was like, why not get this one? If I do want to do a three gun shoot, I got a shotgun. I can still beat the crap out of it. Carried it in the woods, turkey hunting. Because it uses a Benelli and Beretta tubes. And I was like, got those. And so I can't beat this. So it was like a long, drawn-out process for me over like six or eight hours.
Then I was like, I'm just going to order the damn thing.
Sweet, sweet, sweet.
I clean my gun room up. That's something I had to do. I put things up.
Okay, we got to mute Rusty now because he's mentioned cleaning. Nice.
