So this week's fun fact is, and I know that you guys follow the Gun Slaps channel, and he is very hardcore against anything Hollison related, China related, whatever the case is. But my fun fact is, did you know that firearms originated from China in the ninth? What is it? The ninth century when gunpowder was invented. So China was the first ones invented. who originated firearms.
I'm just saying, bro, I'm just saying, man, we go, we, we hate on people, but we forget they're the originators. It's like, Oh, geez, like trying to hate on. Oh, geez.
Right. It's like, it's like J alpha saying hollow sun's trash. Hey, you know, we all have our things that we like. You'll never catch me in a Ford pickup truck. Ever. But, you know, we like what we like and that's fine. But I did not know that. But I'm glad you share that with me. It sort of checks out. Makes sense. But one would say they might have originated there and others might have.

Chapter 2: How did Darius's indoor range session go while zeroing his rifle?
And do that. And do that. The other piece of new business for me, I'm waiting in the mail for my iron sights for my staccato piece, if you guys don't remember. I have a Staccato P. It's my new project. And I don't like standard fiber sights. And I don't run night sights because I run ports. And what's the point of having your night sights blown out?
So I run fibers, and I run fibers from Tag Precision. And you might ask, why do we run Tag Precision sights? Well, one, they're much thicker. You can see this on my Staccato C2. They're much thicker than your standard fiber sights. The second is if you look at the front of that iron sight, it's kind of darkened out because it's actually affixed by a screw.
I actually have my Allen key that it comes with, and I'll do really quickly, D, so I'll take all the time of the show off. But you can unscrew it, and instead of having to crimp and melt and fit your iron sights properly, and you get that extra long rod, you actually can... Whoa, sorry. Sorry. So then you can push that site out with the tool or if it's loose enough, it just comes out.
So now the site's out.
Look at that, guys. Quick. Super simple.
And I'm going to change it out with a white one because it's February and it's that month where you do that.
Those guys changing out the sites middle of the day. Middle of the live. Yeah, I'll do it in the middle of the live for you. We're doing it live.
I did it backwards. Pause. Um, so essentially you put your side in so you can see, I got to finish putting it in, but you can change it to white or black or whatever, but the screw will make it stable and it's much thicker than a standard iron site. Fiber site would be. Um, and we have a code. So use J web 15, um, to say 15% off on anything. They have sites or all kinds of firearms. Um, and,
And it's really, really good. They make all blacked out versions. They also come with the whole kit of additional colors. So you can have any color you want by just changing the fiber insert. Really affordable, very durable.

Chapter 3: What challenges did Darius face with his magazines at the range?
So this is, you didn't get to see this yet. This is the DY-9Z by Daria. Um, it's a small compact G 26 43 X type thing. And it also is RFC cut. So you can factory install a Gideon judge XL. So, um, it's super awesome. It doesn't hang off the sides at all. Look at that dude. That's cool.
So, uh, I said, that's clean. That's a good, uh, what do we call that in this industry? A good truck gun. That's a good trucker. That's one and I don't do this. I know there's some of you cool cats out there. Oh, a leave behind. Yeah, a leave behind. It's either like a G3C. Yeah. It's like sub 200. It's a glove box gun. It's a throw. We'll call it a throw anyway.
Yeah. So I'm going to be reviewing this next. So I'm going to be reviewing this soon. I was waiting for the optics to come in because I don't want to run irons. This also does support glock sites. So again, if I want to, I can upgrade it to tag precision sites, but the Gideon Judge XL is my favorite, favorite RMSC optic right now. I have it on my R11 macro. I have it on my fuse.
I run on everything. So if you want to Judge XL, They're on sale, but you could also save with code J-Weth, J-A-Y-W-E-T-H at Gideon Optics. And they're awesome people. They're always at all the events. And this, I think, is a nice combination the way that sits there.

But, uh, but yeah, so that's, that's what I've got going on. Um, the staccato PE project, I'm, uh, doing some communication to kind of get things organized, but that'll be coming along soon in the next couple of months. Um, and I'm also going to be making a video about the, uh, the grip safety we talked about last time.
So, uh, I'll show you guys how to do that as well, but that's all I've got new for me, man. Um, not too much mail has come through cause, uh, Just patiently making some strategic choices. So, yeah, I respect it, man.

Chapter 4: What is the importance of testing your equipment before use?
And I've already told you guys at the beginning of the year, I have slowed down on purchasing like firearms. If we acquire firearms, it's by review. And as you see, Jay has one in his midst. I'm working on this little special project. I'm not going to say if it's going to come to fruition, but I think it would be pretty cool to acquire.
So I have something out there in the atmosphere that I'm waiting for. So I will keep you guys tuned on whether it goes through or not. My request is put out there. So we're patiently waiting. But in the meantime, we are acquiring support parts.
this is jay's and i thought i was ordering the same thing that jay had and uh i got the i got the non-black history size over here on the left so mine is the tiffany blue yeah these is the pink one look at this what the heck i thought i was ordering the same size So I thought this was going to be great for my staccato. You guys know I've been running the staccato, treating it like a Glock.
And it works, right? But it's like super loose. Look at that. It doesn't even hold it. That's great. I use J's. Look at this. And it holds it. Hey, listen, it's just, I got baby grip. That's what I was going to say, dude. It's like a newborn over here with the grip on the magazine. So I got to get this figured out because I can't have my gear sloppy.
But what's interesting is this works for like Glock mags and my M&P mags. So that's very interesting to me. So I think I've made an accidental purchase of the wrong size. And I need to get that corrected. I don't know what you purchased. It's literally... They're the same, guys. You see, it has the...
We'll check on that offline, but I will say the good thing about that mag carrier is that it runs with anything. Yeah, this is true. If you had a smaller mag of something like a 15-rounder, something small, or a single stack, it'll run.
Yep, yep. That's true. I see. I'm looking at the retention on it. But yeah, I picked up one of these mag caddies for the competitions where the goons that are in here are always like, you should use USPSA and shoot 57 round stages and carry kids to the field. Heck no, bro. So I had to get an extra caddy because I was bumming JW's caddy off. So I picked up one from Tier 1 Concealed.
You guys know Tier 1 has been a sponsor for the macros for this season for competition shooting and just in general. Jay and I have been rocking Tier 1 holsters for quite some time. We don't have any problems with it. People have sent me DMs all the time telling me you should try this holster, you should try this holster. Guys, when I first got into this game, I think I bought probably...
12 to 15 different kinds of big name holsters. I'm not spending thousands of dollars on holsters anymore. I have found one that I like. Just like some of you guys who shoot your pistols, you have one pistol that you really like. You're learning it. That is who I am. There might be something cooler out there. There might be something unique out there. I'm going to keep rocking tier one.

Chapter 5: What recent updates did Josh share regarding his DY9Z pistol review?
Uh, B shoot said all his P mags have, uh, cracked lips at the top. I don't want to go through the crack lip lifestyle. And I can see that too, with this amend to magazine, it's very much, uh, a little more, um, a lot softer or harder plastic, which I think would be more prone to cracking, uh, over your traditional PMAGs. Yeah, and these PMAGs have taken some hits, guys. Some hella hits.
And yeah, now I'm with that. I might do some base plates, though. Metal base plates for the PMAGs. I've seen those... So that's my takeaway as far as the magazines go. When it came to the rifle, that was the one experience that really kind of sucked for me.
But I'm glad it happened in the range and not, you know, if I was running my rifle to protect myself and it just fell apart because I thought it was cool to see through magazines during a firefight, right? So stick to PMAGs, guys. That's a life lesson. The other thing, indoor ranges.

I think we spoke about this many times in which we say, well, when you go to indoor ranges, I can't shoot and I can't, I can shoot, but I can't move. What do you do with that, right? How do you get your reps in? If you're in an indoor range, you can't hit the, you can't come from concealment. How do you get those reps in?
So going with my boy Blaze, the only thing I went there in my mind was I need to zero these rifles. Well, after they got zeroed, And I kind of blanked out, guys. I didn't have another. I didn't have a game plan after that. I was like, well, let's mag dump into some trash over here. You know, so we had some we had some small targets and we were running the rifles.
And what I was doing for myself, because I didn't come with a game plan, I decided to do like I wanted to see how the rifle was responding upon recoil when shooting multiple shots. So that was my goal after that. And, you know, you guys are right, dude. These rifles are fun. Like, very fun. You know why they're fun? Because they're easy. There you go.
They're very easy, especially if you have it either gas right, as my boy Blaze said, my 15 was gas perfectly, ejecting out where it needed to be. The one takeaway when I was running this at speed is I need to change the... Grip? I don't like this grip. I don't like this BCM grip angle from my hand. So I'm going to go ahead and I've actually ordered a B5 Systems grip.
What are you doing ordering a B5 Systems grip for? Because I run a B5 Systems on my PCC, so I want them to be the same. Where's your DiFrico grip? I don't know, man. I think I gave it to somebody.

Chapter 6: How do Darius and Josh approach the mechanics of rifle shooting?
We were just having a good old-fashioned party. dump sesh um and surprisingly the suppressor was not hot so i was actually able to put it away um i think we ran through like what 231 round magazines the glock magazines uh back back and Bro, it ran every round, dude. I don't know what to say. It was very pleasant to shoot.
So I'm going to be shooting this a lot more, guys, when I'm out there on the range. Just because it's nice. It gives me the ability to rock those AR controls, the safeties. And I don't feel like I'm going to throw up because I'm shooting so much rifle ammo. But I do get to train the same kind of rifle mechanics for the most part. Yeah, man.
That was the experience with the zero and 25-yard zero with this and 50-yard zero with the rifle. And I guess I just need to get a magnifier or something. But for the most part, they're pretty much set, man. I don't think I'm going to put a suppressor on that 16-inch. I think a can will just make it stupid long.
Yeah.
but I do have a, I do have, I think I have a 14, five upper over here. I can, I'm going to build out and then we'll put a suppressor on that. But for now, yeah, bro, these, this is, this is what we're going to be rocking 2026. I have no desire to update anything on this PCC. Um, It's just a fun... It's an aero precision lower. It has a last round bolt lock.
So it'll lock open the bolt on the last round. It did it consistently. Not too much carbon because it is suppressed. It's pretty good. I mean, we are indoors, so you are going to see a little bit of carbon. But we were dumping, man, and it was... It was good. And the... And... And... I forgot to lube both of these rifles. They were dry AF and they ran without any problems.
115 grain through this suppress, no problems. And I ran 556, 77 grain. I ran a more expensive round because I wanted to get a clean zero instead of like some crappy ammo. So they both received really good ammo just to make sure that they had a good zero. And then now their lives are going to be consistent of dirty ammo. But at least I know I have a zero.
So, yeah. What ammo did you run in your PCC?
I ran 115 grain. Jeez. Mag. Mag tech. Mag tech. Mag tech. 115 grain mag tech. Yeah. That was pretty good. I was like, that's pretty decent. We'll run that. No jams, bro. No failure to feed. I passed it to one guy. He shot a magazine 30 rounds. I shot a magazine before he shot it 30 rounds and then his boy shot another 30 round magazine and they were literally right back to back

Chapter 7: What gear recommendations do they provide for rifle enthusiasts?
Or you could get a top mount, but then zeroing the red dot on top of LPVO might be a pain in the ass. Yep. So I have things for you to try.

But I do have another solar panel on the PCC as well. Consistency. It's like something you say all the time. Yeah, man. Hey, I'm a believer. So you guys out there, if you like your simplified red dots... Get the ones with the solar panel on top, man. That... Night and day, bro. Night and day. But yeah, man, that was my rifle experience.
Guys, I'm really excited to jump into the game with you rifle warlords that are out there. I think it's going to be exciting. I'm still going to keep doing my pistol training, but I'm going to throw the rifle action in here. And I think the PCC is going to be the new home defense for my lady, um, because I don't get her out enough to do pistol training.
And this is super easy to run now that I know that it actually runs. Um, No. And that's it, man. Just put the nine mil in. Babe, there's three magazines. You know where they're hidden in the house. Slap it in chamber and put the dime, pull the trigger. It'll go right where you need it to go. And it's quiet.
You know, Plow Guy Dave was just mentioning in the chat, he has a getting advocate on his PCC. He's three shots away from hitting 630 yards with it.
What? On a PCC?
