Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
You're about to listen to the best podcasts in the world. But first, get the news. The Drudge Report for The Gun World is finally here. The Gun World moves fast. We move faster. The Pew Report. P-E-W dot report. Today's episode of Mac Bros is brought to you by Tag Precision. Episode 82.
Hey yo, it's your boys. And welcome back to another episode of the Mac Bros Show. It's your boys, and welcome back to another episode of the Mack Bro Show. This ain't a podcast. This a movie you should binge it. Josh and Darius going Mac mode. Better listen. Best friends, but them bullets doing long distance. Pulling up with heavy metal, put you on the hit list. I know you missed this.
They all in attendance. Trying to stack bands and inspire the children. I said stop playing with them, but y'all didn't listen to Mac Pearls. They back on a mission.
Welcome, everybody.
Chapter 2: What makes a good budget EDC loadout?
This is episode 82 of the Mac Bros Show. My name is Josh, also known as J-Web, joined by my co-host and, as always, best friend on the planet, Darius Deezgains. We are the Mac Bros, bringing you another fun episode. I put 81 in the live. Now I see why I did it wrong. It's episode 82. Sorry, guys.
I'm only doing what I'm told.
Yeah, I'll take full blame, Mikey. I can give responsibilities, but I hold ownership of it. So this week's episode, if you're tuning in, is questions from you guys. We put some questions out there, some feelers, some folks sent some questions in last week. And so we're going to answer as many questions as we can.
In the future, when we move to Rumble, we'll probably put like a clock or something on screen and try to keep it within a certain amount of time because we can get a little long in the conversation. If you do want to join in on the live during a particular question, you have an opinion, please feel free. You're also welcome to add it into the live chat.
If you want to get on screen with us and just tell us your feedback and thoughts, let me know, and I'll get you in on the call. But before we get into all the questions that you guys submitted to us, and again, if you have questions, you can DM us or you can send them in to the Mac Bros via our website, www.themacbros.com. That's where you can see all our content and also our merch store.
No.com. No.com.
No, the macros.com is okay. Okay.
Okay.
We don't sell firearms. We just sell shirts and make content, but you can go to that website, submit a question to us. We'll get to it or just DM me or Darius, either one of us, and we'll add it to our notes for the next show. Um, so without further ado, Darius kicks us off with a fun fact of the day.

Chapter 3: How can you build a practical everyday carry setup?
Absolutely. Absolutely. All righty. I like that one. That's a nice one. I like that one.
Thank you.
All right. Well, Dee opened up the show talking about this episode being sponsored by Tag Precision. Again, Tag Precision is where you can go to get what I think is game-changer fiber optic sights. You can go to Tag Precision, use our code JWETH15. That's J-A-Y-W-E-T-H-15.
And if you're curious about them, I did actually post a video on the YouTube channel this week installing the sights on this gun that hasn't seen the light of day in a while. This is one of my first builds. It's what I call a Glock 19, but the shadow system is lower when you could buy them in the past. and a Brownells slide with monsoon tactical lucky sevens.
And then we've got a big chunky Sealy ghost optic, but we swapped out the optic, the red, sorry, the fiber sight from tag precision. And these are the suppressor height ones.
Is that your very limited edition rear sight on a pistol of yours?
Yeah, I think it's very rare. There's only one other gun that has a rear sight, and that is my Fuse. That's because it's permanent. It's factory. That's right. But those will come off eventually. But, yeah, so check out the video this week, JWeb 2.0.
um getting a lot of views on it i talk about the sites i show you how to install them i talk about what they're doing with kimber and they're solid they're really good they've been a friend of ours for a while now a sponsor um we got new jerseys coming out this year for the season so they're on the jersey so tag precision check them out use the code jweb15 and thank you tag precision for all the support absolutely
And I don't have to say anything. You guys know, I barely rock irons, but when I do, I always rock tack precision.

Chapter 4: What updates are there on the Mad Science Tactical grip solution?
The first question comes from our friend Plow Guy Dave from the Let's Go Hunt podcast. And last week he asked us a pretty in-depth question. So I took some time to do some research. I think Dee did as well. So here's the question. If someone has a $1,000 budget for a concealed carry setup, do you go cheap with more accessories or Do you go expensive with less accessories?
I'm thinking like cheap as in firearm and more accessories or expensive firearm with less accessories. And so if you have $1,000 total, we'll just say cheap is $500 or less. Expensive is $600 or more because you're talking about more than half the budget. With less accessories... Or do you go cheap with a class? What situation? What handgun?
So I guess my first question before we discuss this would be for the rules. Are we saying accessories are holster and belt?
Yeah, I needed to ask that question. It sounds like I'm reading the question as well. I think it's, to me, it sounds like this is an everything. A whole set of belt and holster.
So I think we know the answer to that first part, which is don't go cheap or poor in quality when it comes to belt and holsters. We stand firmly on that. I think that D and I would agree. The holster and belt is probably the most important thing you would buy besides the gun.
yeah because you can have a good gun but if it can't stay secure where it's supposed to be if you don't know how to set your retention correctly if you don't have the right belt for it then what's the point now if you are looking to do a combo and just get like a bag that has the uh holster in it thing that people are doing, if that's your thing, if that's your bag baby, then cool, do that.
But I think that Dee and I would say unanimously tier one concealed holster or your holster of choice is going to be about a hundred bucks. They range depending on if you have a caddy setup or not. Like, if you want to have a full rig setup like this or not, or if you want to have just the gun setup only. But holster is the most important thing. We liked your one concealed.
That's all we use right now. But there are a bunch of others that are really good. But they're about the same range. You're looking at $80 to $100 to $140, depending on your price point.
Or more for, like, premium design.

Chapter 5: What tips does Darius have for finding good ammo?
It might be mine. I'm not sure. Uh, but we find out where you could find it. Um, there's going to be three, uh, three or three other panels with different types of topics and levels of people. Um, and you can go to those channels and watch, but on the live, cause I did that one year where I couldn't attend, um, Our boy Gammage was on it, and I wanted to ask a question just to anyone.
And they found in the live chat someone's moderating it and said, oh, like we do on our show. There's a question in the live. They ask the people. So there will be a way to find the live stream of the panel there as well. All right. Tickets are going to be on sale in a couple weeks. When those come out, you'll hear from me and a lot of people in the industry on when to go grab your tickets.
They do go quickly. I hope to see you guys there.
We'll keep reminding you guys as the day approaches on our show.
Absolutely. It's one of my few events I actually am committed to going to every year. I've been going this week my third year in a row. I love it. It's a great time. Awesome, man. Good night. Yep. All right. Well, guys, that'll wrap us up for this week's episode. We still have a lot more questions left, and please keep sending them in.
If we don't get to your question this week, we'll try to get to it the next time, and so on and so on. But, yeah, send your questions in. DM them to me or Darius, respectively, or just go to themacbros.com, which is where you can contact us. You can watch our content. We do blogs there. We do build breakdowns. We have merch, all this stuff there. And you can find us there.
Again, thank you to the Firearms Radio Network for hosting us and putting us all over the podcast airways. Go to firearmsradio.net to find any sort of gun podcast that exists because that's where you want to be. Follow the YouTube channel, jweb2.0. That's where we're growing pretty quickly now. Thank you, John Patton, for the assist on that. And, yeah. We'll see you next week.
We're going to see where we're going to be. We're moving to Rumble soon. We'll let you know ahead of time when that happens. It's because we could do a lot more fun at Rumble. Darius, thank you for joining me. I hope you have a good weekend. You're safe. Everyone else, be safe out there. The world's a crazy place. We hope to see you next week.
Yes. See you guys. Have a good night. What do we got?
