Chapter 1: What is the purpose of setting up the Frankford Arsenal X-10?
If you died today, would your family know what your gun collection is worth? Don't leave them guessing. Secure your legacy with our widow's view. Sign up at Pew Locker. P-E-W dot locker. Standard disclaimer, folks. You probably will hear from episode to episode recipes for what we do. Remember, we're telling you what we do. We're not telling you what you should do.
What you should do is you should stick with published loads.
Chapter 2: What safety precautions should be taken during reloading?
So, you know, we disavow any responsibility for damages done because you might not be following a safe and careful reloading practice that Jeremy or I or Jason or Trevor or Mike might be following. And it could possibly be the fact that you might have a tighter chamber. You might have a looser rifling. You might not get the velocity we do or you might get more. If you're going to take in...
Reload, understand, you're responsible for what you do. We are not.
hello welcome to the reloading podcast here on the firearms radio network presented by patriot patch company and fuzzy face nick this camera was way out of focus i don't know how it looks normal on my end so well anyway uh and uh camerado.com which it's getting to be season for camo actually it's already well past season for camo so you should go over to camerado to coupon code reload get yourself some camo
Yes, my camera looks weird, but at least my face isn't like three times the size of everybody else's. So I don't know what the hell I'm going to do. It doesn't have any ability to out any further. So I got to figure out something, some way to make it work or I don't know, different camera or something or other. I don't know. It's always something. So anyway, how's everybody?
Good.
Doing pretty good. I'm almost back to normal for me. Thursday morning, about 2.30, woke up. What program are we using for the show? We're still using Talk Studio from Streamlabs. And my guess is it's not streaming to Rumble.
So you got up at 2.30 in the morning, Mike?
Yeah. Had a little bit of a gut cramp. And dogs wanted to go out, so took care of the dogs first. Then... all hell broke loose. Somehow I got the flu and it was literally coming out both ends. So, um, between then and Friday night, about six 30, I literally had, um, probably like 16 ounces of water, uh, 20 ounces of seven up and 10 salty. And that was it.
That's one heck of a diet you went on.

Chapter 3: How do you troubleshoot common issues with reloading equipment?
For $20, it's hard to beat them.
No, not at all. They're usually $45, $50 each.
Yep.
Good price. They're in good shape.
Oh, yeah. They're almost brand new.
In other words, they haven't been dropped on the floor a lot.
No, I didn't see any dings, any dents on them, any markings or anything. Yeah, they were really nice and clean. Still in the little tubes that they sent them from Forrester. Okay. The 6.5 suite might even be in the original packaging from Forrester. It doesn't even look like he pulled them out of them.
That can help you set your brass, too.
Absolutely.

Chapter 4: What improvements can be made to enhance shooting performance?
All right, so as some people know, I've talked about my Otis cleaning kit before. Many, many, many, many, many. And I've used it on the show a few times. So this case is 30 years old, almost. As you can see, stuff falls out of it all the time. So I reached out to Otis and inquired about getting a new one. Guess what? It is covered under their handy lifetime warranty. So they literally...
I sent them pictures of what mine is, and they literally sent me a replacement. Nice. Speaking of Otis... I'm making lots of noise, I'm sure. Speaking of Otis, we will be having a representative from Otis' marketing department on the 11th, next week. So, the material's a little different. Ooh, that's a nice change. So, material's a little different. This is...
Actually, I think it is about the same. It's got improvements on the outside case. It's got a cool Otis logo, which you can't see because it's black on black on black. But there's also Velcro here, so you can put a morale patch on it. I only had one that didn't have the backing on it. Still has the little side pockets, so I can take all of my stuff like this if I don't hit the keyboard.
And I can put all my stuff that I had in that pocket back in that pocket. Now here is a massive improvement. So this, instead of just that cut out foam, is actually a hard plastic. I need frigging light. Ha!
Ding!
So it's actually got different design to actually hold stuff in. So there's actually, you know, hard and fast locking points for the adapters and jags and stuff. And that's what the Otis looks like. A little bit of an upgrade. By the way, this is from LED Lenser. A little magnetic charging clip, USB powered. A couple different brightness settings.
So now you can see it even better because I turned the brightness up. One of the other things is it glows in the dark after you turn it off. But here's one of the other features. It locks up your computer. There we go. It's red. Red. You can tell by the lovely flash that you see there. Yeah. Turn off. There we go. Anyway. So. You can't really see right now, but a little different design.
It's got the same little strap thing in here for your... It's designed to hold extra brushes and stuff, but I just use it for the bore light. And now it's got a little adjustable. I'd show you, but the camera's just gone squawky anyway, so we're just going to turn that off. But it's got little sliders so you can adjust the spacing. And has spots for the brushes.
And the brushes actually just slide right in to the hole. Kind of like some of your drill bit holders. Just slides in and locks in place. Everybody excited? So anyway, let's see if my camera's done being in the ass. Nope. Sweet. Good thing I got video on that one. Anyway, would have been nice to kind of show how this works on video, but

Chapter 5: How do different types of shotgun wads affect reloading?
But plated bullets work really well. Has anyone experimented with that new or have that new Dillon bullet feeder?
Okay, so I'm back. Okay. You know, what I would probably do if I was going to be sure that this wood would hold is I would get some threaded double-ended studs. Okay. Okay. So they've got a wood thread that goes down into the wood and then a machine thread that comes up.
Right.
But I don't.
So you're using?
Inch and a half screws.
Okay.
And obviously I want to get this to the end so I'm not smacking the handle and adjusting the handle. Wait a minute. The handle only goes.
So far.

Chapter 6: What are the benefits of using the Frankford Arsenal X-10 press?
Um, yes, there are some guys out there and they do work flawlessly. Those pro checkers sevens and you, uh, are not special because there's a lot of people that do have problems with them, but, um, People at RCBS, and Nick will attest to this, are very good people. And if you have a problem, get in touch with us. And when are we having him on, Nick? You got to turn your mic on. Don't hear you yet.
How about now?
There we go.
There we go. He was supposed to be on last week. He's actually out of the country, I believe, this week. With him being working and starting to get in trade shows, I think we figured we'll have him all after that show. After that show, okay. Have some more new products coming. I think that's the current plan. But, yeah, if you have any questions, shoot them my way.
I can shoot them over to Joel and get a direct response straight from Joel himself.
That's Joel Hodgson.
Bill Hodgson, president of RCBS.
Yes. Yes, even though his name is Hodgson.
And no, this isn't a missing cord. This is the power cord for this.

Chapter 7: How does the NRA's recent publication change impact members?
Thanks. Yes. So even though FDR got us through World War II, he was actually a really horrible president. Go look at everything that he did and you'll figure it out real quick. But it's how it's reported, so.
Well, that's the beginning of the Democratic Party, as we know it today. But you guys, I mean, you know, in what, another seven days or so, they're going to be, or six days, they're going to be celebrating.
They're going to be celebrating heavily. Yes. Think of 18-year-old kids who got into dad's liquor stash with no repercussion. That's pretty much it.
Except they will be at the Marine Corps barracks in Washington. They will have their annual ball and the Marine Corps silent drill team and that is one that I would love to go to go watch those guys.
I would love to watch those guys.
The commandant, the Marines will be there and
if you watch um clint eastwood movie where he's marine and goes yeah um they give you a little glimpse of the ball yeah and that's i know marines have gone to ball the anniversary balls or birthday balls yeah they they say it's an incredible time yeah yeah so yeah um you know if you see one and you offer to buy him a drink, make sure you make it very clear it's only one drink.
So just as a warning.
I got a good kick out of it. So J.D. Vance, not getting political or anything, but he was out in Pendleton a week and a half, two weeks ago, and said a speech about if the government shut down, if we don't pay the Marines here, every bar in Southern California will go out of business. He's not wrong. He's not wrong. Absolutely. He's not wrong.

Chapter 8: What should veterans and active military personnel know about support resources?
If I can, I'm going to do a five-year. It's time to start giving again. Not only to membership dues, but to the ILA. Because that's where we're going to need the money. Because the ILA is the legislative action. So that's the one that actually does all of the lobbying and all of the rating of the Congress critters. Yeah. NRA has pretty much always been very good about their ratings.
It's been pretty close to accurate. You can use that. If you're talking to your Congress critters while you're following up on what they do for the 2A, you can see what their rating is and say, hey, so you've got this rating from the NRA. What are you going to do to increase your rating? And it's not what they're going to say or what they're going to try and do.
It's what are you going to actually do. But Yeah. Gang, it's time to jump back on board with the NRA. You know, even if it's a dollar. You got to remember a lot of the problem with the NRA is there's a lot of life members that don't give any money. So, yeah, it's all good. You know, once you signed up.
But that was part of the hemorrhaging is you got all these life members that, you know, maybe signed up in the 60s, the 70s. Like my dad got his life membership in the 70s. So he literally got a magazine 12 months a year. You get 12 issues a year. From the 70s on till he passed away. And I know he didn't give a lot. And there's a lot of NRA members, life members that are like that.
So even if you sign up for, you know, a base membership, you can still give extra. You can give to other things, you know. I'm not saying you have to. I'm saying I'm going to. Doug, I don't remember his last name, but he was on with Gresham last Sunday. By the way, if you do not listen to Gun Talk, you need to.
Um, you need to listen to the student of gun from Paul Markle and you need to listen to gun talk. Those are my two podcasts that absolutely need to listen. Okay. Gang. Um, and by the way, Tom and Paul are friends. So even though they don't necessarily see eye to eye all the time, they're friends. And Paul's been on Tom's podcast quite a few times.
And I think Tom's been on student of the gun once or twice. So, um, so it, you know, it, you know, that type of thing, but, um, and, Just like everybody else, don't take everything that Tom says or Paul says. Do your own investigation. Check out your own facts. But keep abreast of what's going on because we're getting... There was local and state elections today across the country.
So you got stuff like there. It wasn't governor stuff. Usually that's in the spring.
We did have one governor, Virginia. I think Virginia and New Jersey. Was that maybe that was...
