Chapter 1: What insights were shared about the SHOT Show 2026?

0.031 - 25.574 Unknown

Stop using spreadsheets. Track your collection with serial numbers, pictures, and more. Log your round counts, store NFA paperwork securely, and even help your family after you're gone with our WidowView. Upgrade your digital armory today at PewLocker, P-E-W dot locker. Standard disclaimer, folks. You probably will hear from episode to episode recipes for what we do.

0

25.774 - 49.244 Unknown

Remember, we're telling you what we do. We're not telling you what you should do. What you should do is you should stick with published loads. So, you know, we disavow any responsibility for damages done because you might not be following a safe and careful reloading practice that Jeremy or I or Jason or Trevor or Mike might be following.

0

Chapter 2: How can you track your firearm collection effectively?

49.805 - 67.467 Unknown

And it could possibly be the fact that you might have a tighter chamber. You might have a looser rifling. You might not get the velocity we do or you might get more. If you're going to take an... Reload, understand, you're responsible for what you do. We are not.

0

89.114 - 111.986 Mike

Hello! Welcome to the Reloading Podcast here on the Firearms Radio Network. Presented by Patriot Patch Company and Camerado. No video. Damn it. So Rumble still doesn't work. I'm going to have to get a hold of Rumble and see what the fucking deal is. Pardon my French, but this is pissing me off. Yeah. Oh, there we go. Hot damn. All of a sudden it started working. Oh, nice.

0

112.006 - 136.622 Mike

Now... Oh, wait a minute. Oh, come on. Okay. There we go. Now let's see if it works. Yay. All right. So now we're live on discord too. Oh, I need to mute myself there. Cause otherwise they're going to hear me double. That'll be weird. All right. Oh, for crying out loud, Ross. So they're talking about weather in the chat. Um, it is currently, Oh, Holy crap.

0

136.642 - 149.235 Mike

It warmed up to 12 degrees, but it feels free. Yeah. Um, Oh, about, well, when I got work, it was two. Um, That's because we're supposed to get three inches of snow.

0

149.515 - 151.077 Unknown

Well, please keep that stuff up your way.

Chapter 3: What are the implications of the latest reloading practices?

152.058 - 153.68 Paul

It was six this morning here.

0

154 - 160.527 Mike

It's now 21. Negative four. Now it's a balmy 23 degrees in Big Lake, Alaska right now.

0

161.328 - 161.928 Unknown

A balmy?

0

163.049 - 175.062 Mike

Yep. Yeah, so I got to be in at four in the morning to plow. That's a tough one. Yeah, that sucks. Anyway, here we are. So, Paul, how have you been? We haven't seen you in a bit.

0

175.396 - 182.286 Paul

Yeah, doing better. Doing better. Had a touch of it. Was not able to make it for the last show, so back at it.

182.306 - 203.9 Mike

Well, Ladysmith's way up north, so I'm not surprised there, Jerry. So, Clifford, you can just fly a kite, all right? He said it did snow Sunday about an inch, but it melted by 9 a.m. Yeah. Yeah. Saturday, we got about five inches, and then Sunday, we got another inch to add to it. Last night, we had about an inch.

204.261 - 222.866 Paul

Dr. Pepper, yum. Yep. Last night, we had about an inch. Everybody sits down, and I get the snowblower out. Nothing wrong with that. No, it's self-propelled. I don't have to push it. I don't have to lift with it. All I got to do is guide it. That's beautiful. Especially because we're on a corner lot with two driveways.

223.006 - 254.629 Mike

Yeah, definitely. He's close to Wasilla, and he says it was 23 there. It must have just been an even worse delay than normal. Oh, I suppose. Yeah, that is big news in Pensacola. That'll destroy the oranges. Yeah. All right. So, um, I wonder, I don't want to use stacks. I'm trying to see if I can organize this mess. Yep. Whoop. I didn't want to do that. Crikey. There we go. Now everybody's back.

Chapter 4: What new products were introduced at SHOT Show?

255.49 - 276.308 Paul

That was close. You know, Clifford, you can, you know, blow the snow in or push the snow into, into the street, but all they're going to do is just, you know, put it right back to where you had it, you know, closing your driveway off. Well, of course not. It's government controlled. Why the hell would it make sense? Plow drivers don't care. Nope, they don't.

0

276.529 - 289.689 Paul

They put the plow down and they go and that's it. Try and do it as fast as possible. Yeah, fast as possible. Overtime. Yep. It seems it doesn't snow during the day, it's at night. Mm-hmm. They're getting their time in a double time on Sunday.

0

290.831 - 320.357 Mike

I got time and a half on Sundays, but no double time. Oh, no double time. No, so... uh thank you clifford for the uh five dollar donation and thank you rusk for the uh alaska rust one for the 9.99 donation for the computer fund so thank you gentlemen thank you very much they can't hear on discord okay now how's that let's just mute that window okay is that better Okay, can you hear me now?

0

320.737 - 334.84 Mike

So, all right. Anyway, why does this exist? Wages. That's dumb. All right. Anyway, well, hopefully they're not hearing Dublin Discord. Robert, wages $92.65. Why do you exist? So, anyway.

0

336.543 - 342.613 Paul

All right. Jerry Potter there got a $300 blackout from Henry Leverach. Wow.

344.888 - 373.756 Mike

um you get the can to go with it now no that might be a single shot i don't think they have a 300 blackout uh uh 300 blackout lever gun anyway all right so no it's it's a lever gun it is wow they lever nice detachable magazine oh that's indeed not a bad considering guns and ammo rifle wow nice so all right use the air mags i'm Oh, that's right. You do work for Henry. I forgot. Nice. Yeah.

374.136 - 382.028 Mike

So he probably gets a little bit. So, um, speaking of cans, there's lots of cans out there now and more companies coming.

382.79 - 390.922 Paul

So, yeah, it seems, uh, Z printing becoming a wave of handmade. Well, I don't know if you call it some additive.

390.942 - 405.683 Mike

No, no, it's 3d printing. Yeah. So, yeah, they're definitely 3D printing. The big thing is 3D printing them in Inconel. Okay. So some people will notice it's a little pricey. But, yeah. It's got to take a little bit of time.

Chapter 5: How does 3D printing affect the firearms industry?

406.124 - 427.861 Mike

Yeah. Yep, definitely. So there is quite a few different companies coming out with cans and quite a few that are showing them off at SHOT Show. But basically what I did is I went through – uh, the press kit and kind of some of the newer stuff that's coming out. That's interesting. Some of it's interesting.

0

427.881 - 450.354 Mike

Some of it's not, but we're going to go through and kind of take a look at some of it here. But, uh, All right. So, uh, you know, it's, uh, always some interesting projects, products that come out. And the first one that I found that was kind of weird, but kind of cool is called bomb shot. Um, so it's lip balm in a shotgun shells style holder.

0

450.774 - 455.12 Unknown

So you roboted, I said, you know, that's not new, right?

0

455.14 - 455.701 Mike

Bomb shot.

0

456.061 - 458.124 Unknown

Yeah. It's been out for some years.

458.985 - 484.94 Mike

No, this, this company is new. So, Or maybe that's just in the new area. So anyway, yeah, I've never seen it before. So new to me anyway. Oh, it looks like they're in Sportsman's Warehouse. That's why. Because I don't have a warehouse. But yeah, it was in the new products listing. So that's why I grabbed it. But yeah, it's basically kind of like a chapstick. So interesting.

485.701 - 510.153 Mike

One of the things that I saw that was kind of interesting, MagnaLens. is a company that came out with... I don't know if I have enough power to do this or not. There we go. We'll see if we have enough power to do this. I don't know if we're not. So what we've got here is from MagnaLens. So what they did... What's one of the biggest pain in the asses with wearing earmuffs?

510.693 - 534.684 Mike

They never seal right because you've got either your regular glasses or your shooting glasses. They go over your ear and in underneath. So unless you've got the gel... Unless you've upgraded and bought the gel pads, they don't seal right, right? Definitely, yeah. So MagnaLens came out with a two-piece product, shooting glasses, and earmuffs that work together.

535.064 - 560.213 Mike

So if you look right here, if you can see, where the extension comes down into the earmuff, it's got the little round spot there. That is a magnet connector, and then the magnets are in the end of the earmuffs. Shooting glasses. So they just connect right to your earmuffs. Oh, interesting. Yeah. Now, is it available in prescription lenses? That I don't know.

Chapter 6: What are the latest advancements in suppressor technology?

560.553 - 585.97 Mike

Because I don't think, I think it's just launched from what I saw. But we'll see if we can go to their website and find out. Yeah, that would be important. Customizable lenses. Let's see here. Doesn't say anything about prescription. Oh, so here you go. You don't have to buy their earmuffs. They make an adapter kit for most of the common earmuffs.

0

586.411 - 609.137 Mike

So each ML Pro package comes with your selected lens color or colors, three sizes of magnetic temple pieces, which each individually are also adjustable as a traditional, as well as a traditional temple piece for use without earmuffs. So the temple piece, that's the piece that comes like from here back. So they've got three different lengths that are also adjustable.

0

609.505 - 629.478 Mike

And then they've got a regular one, so if you don't want to wear earmuffs, you just use, say, Foamy's. So if you get a full seven lens set, it comes with a large case to store it all in. It comes with an eyewear lanyard. And then it also comes with the earmuff adapters. So I don't have to get rid of my sword to buy there. Right.

0

629.498 - 655.93 Mike

The only thing I don't see on here is whether it comes with prescription. That style of glass. Oh, here you go. Prescription options are also available via snap-in prescription inserts or custom lenses. So just the shooting glasses are $140. It says the magnetic adapter is sold separately to go on to the other sets up. So prescription options, basically they've got an insert.

0

656.17 - 657.973 Mike

See this, if you can or not.

658.193 - 663.761 Paul

Yeah, that kind of thing is, you know, the bridge of the nose is they snap in a bridge. Yep, yep. Okay.

664.061 - 696.154 Mike

So those are $20. Okay. That's not bad at all. No. So they have clear, yellow, orange, light gray, gray, light purple, regular purple, light and dark gray combo. Okay. Light and dark purple, yellow and orange together, clear and yellow together, clear and gray. Large selection of colors. Okay. Yeah. So the earmuff adapters, $10. Yeah.

696.234 - 706.405 Mike

So they come for walkers or they come for Howard Lights, Sordans, Peltors, Peltor Comtax, ATK, iSports.

706.621 - 719.487 Paul

You know, for that type of glass, you know, glasses, $100 is not out of the... Yeah, just for a single lens or a single color, it's $140.

Chapter 7: How can air rifles be used for hunting in different states?

765.556 - 768.48 Mike

So yeah. So, yeah, I saw something about that.

0

768.72 - 782.176 Paul

That works. That works. I mean, if you look at a Wiley X, just a pair of glasses is going to run you $150 to $180. You're not getting the adjustable hearing protection.

0

782.196 - 805.194 Mike

Right. Not bad. So, CompMag manufactures sideload-durable fixed mags. So, this is like a California, Connecticut, Rhode Island Massachusetts where you can't have a removable mag. Okay. Yeah. Um, so it literally, I think actually other picture was better. Um, so feed door drops down while your mag is inserted. So you can't take it out in California.

0

805.454 - 827.044 Mike

So the disc drops down and you load it from the side. Yeah. So I thought that was cool. Um, Another speed loader company's come out. Now this one I thought was kind of cool. So this one isn't just one single load. This one here is a triple stack. So you literally got 15 rounds in this puppy. You slam your first five home.

0

827.328 - 849.501 Mike

And then you drop your brass out, you slam your second five home, and then you slam your third five home. So you don't have three separate speed loaders. You've only got one. Then Pet Vet came out with a new medic first aid kit for pets. So a couple of smart gun locks out there. Fingerprints. So you got a trigger lock here. There's a cable lock I also saw. This Nextorch Pioneer Multicool.

850.683 - 877.129 Mike

The only thing I didn't look up is see if this is already for sale and for how much. And it is. So we'll look at this. A hundred bucks. So you've got, essentially it's a three handle. So we can't see that. So it's got three of like the handles parts. Okay. But it folds like that. So it's got a combination of full size rescue shears and pliers. So no more little, little scissors like that.

877.447 - 889.481 Mike

Um, it's got a zip tie cutter, so a hundred bucks on Amazon. So it's nice to see some innovation in, um, multi-tools. Yeah. Multi-tools. So it's not just the standard Leatherman and Gerber.

Chapter 8: What are the benefits of using new reloading equipment?

889.841 - 916.505 Mike

So, um, so you can get specialized rescue features like an oxygen tank wrench or a handcuff cutter. Um, and then it's got spring loaded scissors, stainless steel blades, uh, 50 CR 15 MLV. What the hell that means. I don't know. So, but I thought that was neat. And like I said, there's this fingerprint smart gun lock, and there's also a cable lock. Howard Light came out with upgraded Bluetooth.

0

917.606 - 936.664 Mike

So this is the 5.0 Bluetooth, better connectivity. And they also came out with a new shooting glass, shooting glasses. Theoretically, they're not supposed to fog up. Yeah, right. Spectra Ballistics International came out with a couple of new 22s. So it's a T-style charging handle.

0

937.049 - 963.578 Mike

So instead of like a regular Ruger style, it's supposed to be a little better to pull back on, like an AR style is my understanding. Okay. Billet aluminum, different design on the barrel. Yeah. So I'm going to go find their other one because it doesn't organize this. Here's that other cable lock that's fingerprint. Here's the other option. So this is a super light.

0

964.038 - 972.57 Mike

Oh, this gives you a better picture of that T-handle. So this is their receiver. Okay. So here's your T-handle for cocking.

0

972.95 - 980.185 Paul

Yeah. So you don't have a big handle or something in the way while you... Right. Right. AR style.

980.566 - 1009.26 Mike

So it's an Amber Decker serious, non reciprocating T charging handle. So it doesn't say what the weight is on it. Oh, so you can get either a 12.5 or a 16.25 inch barrel, polymer grip, AR rear stock. I'm interested in the receiver. Yeah. All right. Where was I? Okay. So now stop box. So stop box is kind of the big new thing in like single pistol lock boxes.

1009.493 - 1037.037 Mike

So now what they did is they basically made an ammo can that's lockable, polycarbonate ABS, so you can theoretically put your pistol and everything in there. $50 more than the regular pistol case, but I'm sure if they are marketing that like they do everything else, it'll be buy one, get one, or buy one, get one half off. Yeah. Oh, that's an actual freaking tent. It's been pressure wrapped.

1037.405 - 1064.847 Mike

So it's basically kind of like a improvised tourniquet or, well, not a tourniquet, but it's a different design of the pressure wrap. So if you need to put pressure on a wound to get it to stop bleeding. So March came out with a TCC IFAC. So that would be TCCC. It's going to have a little bit of different stuff in it from your normal stuff. Wild Oak came out with a new basically AR case.

1065.181 - 1090.672 Mike

auto came out with a bunch of stuff this is the only thing i saw that wasn't specifically tagged for law enforcement so this was noise barrier uh earplugs electronic earplugs so um new track which i've never heard of uh is a new is uh maybe somebody else has but they've got a um reflex site of two out two moa Um, water resistant.
