AJ is on the phone for a first date follow-up, and he's been getting ghosted by a woman named Malia for two weeks now. He's not sure what he did wrong, so we're about to find out. But first, AJ, tell us about your date with Malia.
Yeah, that was great. We went to a jazz club downtown, and it was such a great vibe. I mean... It was dim lighting, and there was live saxophone and martinis. Ooh, sexy. I mean, the whole night just felt easy, you know? Like, we were smiling across the table, leaning in close, and we could hear each other between the songs. I liked her a lot. It sounds like it. Yeah, I've tried to get a hold of her a few times, and nothing.
Okay. Is there anything you can think of that might be the reason you're getting ghosted?
Yeah, I pretty much spit a martini in her face.
What? What? On purpose?
No. At one point in the date, I was drinking a martini, and I noticed that some of her hair got in, and I just reacted, and I kind of spit it out, but I noticed a lot of it got on her. Okay.
Oh, no.
I told her that there was hair in it, And she seemed like she understood, but she probably just got grossed out by the fact that I spit my drink on her.
A lot of questionable things in that moment.
But, yeah, we ended the date with a kiss, and she says she wanted to see me again, but I haven't heard from her, and it's really messing me up.

It mostly got on her, and I had no idea, but she seemed to be okay. All right. So you're thinking that was that.
