In this episode, I share how I was able to transition my online presence from a healthy living blogger to functional nutrition (FDN-P) entrepreneur. It definitely wasn't easy, and I struggled for years before hiring a business coach. At times, I felt defeated, frustrated, and confused. I was constantly second-guessing what I was doing and not getting the results that I wanted. Accountability and clarity from my coach and mastermind community were the key factors in helping me transition Carrots 'N' Cake to what it is today. I couldn't have done it without a coach and supportive community. Clearly, I do well with external accountability… having a deadline from my business coach, being accountable to the women in my mastermind… I still have to show up and do the work, yes, but it’s much easier for me to NOT give up when I know I have someone checking in with me. For me it’s not necessarily about the education or resources; it’s more about the accountability, support, guidance, and clarity that my coaches provide. There is SO much nutrition and fitness information out there. To the point where it’s easy to get paralyzed and not do ANYTHING, which makes things even more challenging when “life happens”.
