This weekend marks the 20th anniversary of the fantastic First Division play-off Final that’s the subject of today’s Greatest Games, in association with The Blizzard. Geneticist, author and broadcaster Adam Rutherford joins us to discuss Barnsley 2-4 Ipswich, the last club game at the old Wembley!After Ipswich were knocked out in the three previous play-off semi-finals, they arrived at a Wembley on the back of a 7-5 aggregate win over Bolton in the semi-finals. They must’ve worried misfortune would strike again after just six minutes into the final, as a Richard Wright own goal put Barnsley ahead.
