Yeah, it's been great, Brody. It's been uh a really enjoyable couple of weeks. It's been a couple of great series wins against India, obviously such a a strong side, number one uh in both formats of the White Ball game. Um, although now England we have gone to number one, which is obviously a big feather in our cap after the four nil series victory in the T twenties. Uh and then yeah, in the the one day games to to win two one. It was a great day at Lord's on Sunday. It was a a brilliant game of cricket. Uh, I thought we played really well. I thought India played really well actually in the chase to get as far as they did as well. Um but yeah, to win two one in that and yeah to score a few runs in an England shirt again.
It's it's been a good couple of weeks.
It has. Uh to talk about the T twenty side, first of all, you don't get a trophy for getting to number one the world. Do you but the record under Baz and Harry Brooke has been great. You know, you've been an integral part of that. I think since Baz took over as coach, it's played thirty one one twenty one, which is which is brilliant. In that T twenty side, are you always just focusing on when the next World Cup is and can you lift that trophy, or do you try and stay present and just say, Let's win each series as they come?
I think it's actually really important to stay really present. I know Baz obviously took over Jan twenty-five. That's when I was still in charge as well of the T twenties. And we lost a few games against India there. So Brook and Baz's records even better, I think, than the one you mentioned. So we've been playing some really good cricket consistently for um what would that be over twelve months now in that format. Obviously lost a World Cup semi-final to India. So been playing some good seven. It it's it's i easy to get focused on World Cups and they are far down the line and you sort of oh well just judge yourself on on World Cups. But I remember going back to sort of twenty nineteen then You know, the team that does win the World Cup are generally come from
either number one in the world or very close to the top of the rankings. So being really focused on your series that you're playing, being really immediate with that, playing your best, strongest team as often as you can, I think, and not getting too caught up in in the World Cups that are coming down the line is really important. And in the confidence it builds throughout the group, um, the habit of winning, the habit of winning series, especially, you know, that's a real
