Inflation cooled in June. The PCE Price Index found prices declined one-tenth of a percent last month for the year ending in June. Inflation came in at 3.7 percent, which was an improvement to 3.3 percent. The PCE report for June was compiled before the recent rise in crude oil prices that followed renewed tensions in the Middle East.
Speaking of that, Iran has again launched an attack targeting American troops in Jordan. But like the first one, the missiles were shot down and the U.S. military retaliated for that initial attack last night.
