Chapter 1: What incident sparked discussions about political violence in the U.S.?
Still investigating why he did it. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. What really happened yesterday and whether or not this person is acting alone or in a conspiracy with others, we don't know. Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, a Republican, also tells Fox after a gunman shot at an immigration enforcement facility killing one detainee and wounding two others.
The reality is we have a problem in this country right now with political violence. Fox's Griff Jenkins reports as Texas Democrats put out a statement. They say we unequivocally condemn all forms of violence and urge everyone to refrain from rhetoric that fans the flames from all sides.
The Trump administration and the governor must stop stoking the flames of division, hate and anger to exploit people's fears for political gain. Democrats also denounced federal agents wearing masks. Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons tells Brian Kilmeade's Fox radio show.
Chapter 2: How is President Trump addressing domestic terror networks?
They wouldn't have to wear the masks if people like that Our elected officials weren't calling us Nazis, Gestapos, calling for threats like that, calling for people to actively resist us. The gunman killed himself, an anti-ICE message written on a bullet found near him. President Trump plans an executive order aiming to dismantle domestic terror networks.
Another order would facilitate the sale of TikTok to American business leaders to end Chinese control, staving off a looming TikTok ban. Now, right now at the White House, a meeting with Turkey's president. Fox's Peter Doocy reports could get tense. This is going to be something that does not happen often.
A world leader is coming here to visit President Trump at the White House fresh off, calling him out and accusing the president of talking too big a game when it comes to ending global conflicts. The Palestinian president has just spoken via video to the UN General Assembly, and Mahmoud Hamas demanded that Israel stop using starvation as a weapon.
Chapter 3: What are the implications of the recent developments in the New Jersey governor's race?
It is a war crime and a crime against humanity. Israel denies that while continuing to wage war against Hamas in Gaza. America's listening to Fox News. This is Ainsley Earhart. attorney in Virginia he appointed is trying to get an indictment over Comey's past testimony to Congress over the investigation dating back to the 2016 election into alleged Trump campaign Russia collusion that the president's long called a hoax.
Some congressional Republicans say that he lied to Congress, but the grand jury is looking into allegations that former FBI Director Comey may have lied before Congress on September 30th, 2020.
Chapter 4: How are New Yorkers reacting to socialism versus capitalism?
That date is very specific because the statute of limitations for lying to Congress is typically five years. Next Tuesday marks exactly five years since Comey's testimony. It's unclear, though, if a grand jury will vote to indict Comey. They may not return an indictment. They have the option to say yes or no. That's Fox's David Spunn.
President Trump's touting a new poll out showing the New Jersey governor's race is tied. The Emerson College voter survey gives Republican Jack Cittarelli and Democratic Congresswoman Mikey Sherrill 43% each.
The president calls Cittarelli tough on crime and cutting taxes in a Truth Social post critical of Sherrill, writing that she's a big supporter of the perhaps future communist mayor of New York City. He's referring to Zoran Mamdani, who has a big lead in his race in a new Fox News poll, getting 47% support.
Chapter 5: What is the current state of Wall Street as reported in this newscast?
Andrew Cuomo at 29%, Curtis Sliwa at 11%, and incumbent Eric Adams at 7%. More New Yorkers say they're in favor of capitalism, 48% to 40%. On a term many have associated with Mamdani, socialism, 41% favor it, 44% do not. When asked which of all politicians they like most, 61% of New Yorkers said Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, then New York Governor Kathy Hochul, and Mamdani.
Least favorite, Mayor Adams at 29%, Sliwa at 28%, and President Trump at 24%. In New York City, Colonel Scott, Fox News. On Wall Street, the Dow's down 70 points, the Nasdaq's losing 120. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News.
